Lionlight tilted his head to the side. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked quietly, trying to comprehend her words in his head. 'I'm not hunting today'... what could that mean? He thought, studying Swanfoot's face. Does this mean she wants to go hunting with me?!?! he thought, bubbling with instant excitement.

Rowanlog nodded, sensing the exhilaration in his apprentice. "I believe so," He said, eyes still forward. "We're coming close to camp. If she's there you could mention it to her." Rowanlog twitched his whiskers as a drop of rain fell on them. The brown and auburn tabby took a quick glance at Lightningpaw, who seemed to be filled with buoyancy. If he wants to be Emeraldsky's apprentice so bad, it's probably not because of me. He just wants to fulfill his aspiration.

StarClan? She thought, squinting her eyes against the hard and steady rain. What the heck is StarClan? Clan of good and dead? Pepper pricked her large and well-structured ears towards the she-cat. "I'm Pepper," She uttered. "And what do they call you?"

Lightningpaw nodded, flicking his ears with each raindrop that landed. With camp coming into view, he thought happily of might becoming a medicine cat.

"I'm Emeraldsky," Emeraldsky answered, a bit of a mood in her voice. Rain always made her feel gloomy and grumpy, and it was mostly the annoying feeling of it constantly dripping on her head that gave her rage. Her ears were dropped, and her fur started to spike up, her tail dragging after her. She was soaked. "Why did I decide to search for herbs while it was raining?" Emeraldsky mumbled to herself.

The camp was coming into view, and Rowanlog looked up at the mighty cliff the camp was located inside. Rowanlog paused for a mere second before heading in. This might have been the first and last training session me and Lightningpaw have ever done... he thought, looking down at his paws. If he becomes a Medicine Cat, I guess I should wish him the best. He turned to look at his apprentice, and smiled weakly as he said, "Good luck, Lightningpaw. I hope everything goes well." Rowanlog began padding into the camp, being trailed by Lightningpaw. He noticed Brackenstorm standing in the camp, and he rushed over to the tom. "Greetings Brackenstorm!" He mewed, quickly nodding in greeting to the warrior. "Have you happened to see Emeraldsky?"

What a weird name! she thought. Have the other cats I have met been named something like this? Pepper heard the she-cat mutter something under her breath. "What was that?' She asked. She knew it wasn't directed to er, but she didn't mind annoying these Wild Cats. They thought so low of her, why not make them think lower?

Emeraldsky looked up. "I'm just scowling at myself for something I did," she said, still a little bit annoyed from the rain. "I'm such a mousebrain at times," she added, ears flattened. Her tail whipped back and forth furiously as she continued walking beside Pepper in the rain.

"A mouse-brain?" She queried, a puzzled expression spread across her face. She was guessing it was some type of term Wild Cats used to bag on themselves. But she wasn't sure. She began walking in a familiar part of the forest, and the scent of her housefolk and other humans became stronger. "We're here," She mewed in a high-pitched and drawn out tone. It was a mock-enthusiasm kind of mew. She padded over to the garden, which was pretty bare. A few overgrown plant grew there. The garden was mostly overrun with weeds. There were a few clumps of catnip near the actual structure, though. "There's the catnip. Or whatever you call it, catmint."

Lightningpaw looked back up at Rowanlog. "Thank yyou, Rowanlog." He dipped his head then turned to look for Emeraldsky.

Emeraldsky smiled as she saw the catmint. As she stepped forward, the sickening and now strong smell of twolegs and kittypets flooded the area. Emeraldsky held her breath as she padded up to the weed filled garden, and took five batches of leaves. "Thank you so much, Pepper," she meowed, a little happier. "Now I must get back to camp. This rain is overwhelming and I'm sure my clan-mates are waiting for my assistance." As the she-cat hurriedly started padding away, she stopped, and turned to Pepper. "Do you want to come see my clan?" she asked, not really wanting a kittypet in the clan but also wanting to be polite.

Swanfoot lifted her head and noticed instantly that Lionlight's eyes had brightened. "W-What? Did I s-say something wrong? I'm sorry..." she trailed off, not knowing what he was thinking. The quiet she-cat had her ears laid flat on her head and her face was lowered to the ground. "D-Did you need me to do something?" Swanfoot asked, confused and feeling as if she had done something wrong.
