He lays down beside her his tail curled over her shoulders.

Hourhaze stood crouched, aiming for the mouse ahead of her. The mouse did a good job of concealing himself in the bushes, but due to Hourhaze's keen eye and sensitive ears, she was able to spot the mouse before the mouse saw her. Running toward the mouse ruthlessly would trigger its escape plan, so Hourhaze kept herself well hidden in the tall grasses. She waited patiently for the mouse to come closer. She lunged at the mouse, claws unsheathed, biting into its back. She held the mouse down forcibly, and dug her claws into the mouse's neck, ending its life there. Hourhaze thanked Starclan before heading for a squirrel she heard while killing the mouse.

Oakpaw

He presses his pelt against hers as they walk and lets a small purr escape his mouth. He was so happy to be with her.

She smiles and lays her head on her forepaws.

When they entered camp she sat down next to the fresh kill pile. "What do you want to eat?" She asked him, licking his cheek and purring.

"How about squirrel?" He asks nosing around the pile for the scent of his favorite prey. He found one buried beneath a rabbit and pulled it away as not to let the pile fall down. Then he laid it in front of him and Rosepaw.

He purrs "I'm sure the kits are going to be as beautiful as their mother" he meows

She sniffed at the squirrel and took a bite before shuffling it to oakpaw while she chewed. "I heard Ivytuff had her kits." She muffled around the bite of squirrel. "I heard their really cute. I wish I could see them." She continued.

She smiles and snuggles closer to him.

"I bet they are." He says taking a bite from the prey. "Wanna go see them later?"
