Petalflower sees Redpaw and smiles. "Hey Redpaw!" she said. "Im not hungry right now but thank you for caring."

Falconkit paced around just outside the nursery, her silver fur sleeked back. Her icy blue eyes watching the events of the camp carefully. She couldn't wait to be an apprentice!

his little ears perked as he heard the queen say his name, but what came after only made his stomach sink even more. redpaw stood, with a crestfallen look on his face, before grabbing his half eaten prey and the two morssels the two she cats had refused. as he turned to go he tripped, sending the three peices of fresh kill flying. the little tom let out a frustrated sigh and regained his footing before snatching up the morning meals he so kindly offered and headed for camp, deciding to see if anyone else would want anything to eat. redpaw decided to check on his twin sister after that and maybe socialize with freinds when he was finished.

the silvery she cat lay curled in her nest, just recovering from a previous stomach cold. how was she suppose to know that the prey was a few days old? all the hurling and gagging reallly tired her out. silverpaw had been out little that day and decided she better rest and stay away from everyone else in case it was contagious. burying her nose in her front paws silverpaw slowly dozed off.

with a groan the orange tabby tom stretched in his warm hay bed in the old barns hayloft. the musky scent of his stale hay bed greeted his nose kindly every morning, but today was different. blane would travel far from his home in search of a new one, for his food supply was running terribly low. this tom has traveled far and has seen a lot of things unimaginable to any other cat. he'd meet a few females every once and a while, settle down and then leave them next day. blane probalby had more kin that any cat he knew. but someday, he really wished to find the love of his life and settle down, for real. but, he wasn't quiet ready for that just yet. blane had heard of nearby wild cats and wondered if he could use one of them for a while, just so he could eat, find a female and 'settle down' with her before heading off again.

Brackencloud

Brackencloud's sleep didn't last. She got up and stretched her legs outside the den. She saw Falconkit over by the nursery and walked over. "Falconkit, how would you like to hear the story about when a badger got into the camp."

[Falcondance]

Falconkit had been observing the apprentices and hadn't noticed Brackencloud approach her until the voice ran through the air. The startled orphan would turn with a curious head tilt before nodding. "Yes please, Brackencloud!" The little girl was eager as she sat down and looked attentively towards the warrior.

Brackencloud sat down next to Falconkit and started the story. "Well it was a hot day in the middle of greenleaf. At sunhigh most cats were resting in their dens, but there was one patrol out that Skydream was leading. When they got back Skydream shouted Badger! when she saw it. Nobody who was in camp noticed the badger until Skydream signaled the alarm. I was in the nursery at the time but the badger was close and I gave it a nasty scratch on the nose. By then almost all everbody was in the clearing taking turns to swipe at the beast, but the badger would not give up and nearly killed many cats. However one brave cat leaped on top of badger. It was Sunstar! The badger tried to shake him off the he wouldn't let go. When Sunstar finally did let go the badger quickly left the camp in fear. Sunstar was hardly hurt and didn't even need single cobweb! For a long time we didn't see or scent another badger and I have never seen a cat fight a badger so ferociously"

Skydream

"Where should we hunt?" I asked, subtly brushing my pelt agsinst his as we walked.

Vixenstripe

Vixenstripe shrugged. "I don't know but why not near the river." He meowed towards Skydream and padded off to where the river was.

Honeyfrost

Honeyfrost padded around camp. She decided to check on the queen that was expecting kits. "Oceanbreeze, are you in here?" She padded into the nursery and waited for a reply.

"Alright, that sounds nice." I agreed, following him.

Falconkit was taken with the story as she listened carefully to every word that the warrior had to say. "Wow, really?!?" She almost couldn't believe how brave Sunstar had been when he fought of the badger. "When I'm a warrior, I'm gonna chase off a hundred badgers!" The kit declared this as a promise as her chest pushed out.
