It was the next morning, and Gingerstar had stayed in the medicine cat's den, with Sam. She thought about his question: You haven't seen a ghost, have you? At least he didn't have periodic dreams of the flood. "Hey, Sam," she said, gently nudging him. "You might think I'm being mousebrained by giving you the possiblity of joining, but we do need more warriors. We always will. And having stronger family connections helps. I don't think you know what it is like to have your family taken away from you, as a kit, knowing you could have done something had you been stronger. Older. My father was killed by a badger. My mother died from old age. So many fragmented families in a Clan. And yet we work together." Gingerstar's voice shook slightly as she remembered her father, Fireclaw, and how as an apprentice, was told by Dipperstar that he had died bravely. She remembered hearing from the medicine cat before Craneleaf how her mother had died peacefully. And she was telling the truth. The Clan had to be a family in order to survive. "Will you join us?" she asked softly. She then padded out of the den, blinking in the morning's light. CherryClan was busy, even without her. At least they could take care of themselves.

Birchclaw looked in surprise at his apprentice. "Come," he said, flicking his tail. He walked towards the edge of camp, slightly disturbed. The clans had good reason to dislike kittypets. As a rule, most were soft and weak. The ones that could make it so far into Clan territory and live were stronger and braver than most. The warrior shook his head to clear his thoughts, and he made his way towards the borders with his apprentice.

Cherryfang was feeling a bit lazy that morning, and she walked into the nursery to deliver the queens and kits some food. She noticed Hollyheart and Rainkit playing a game, and chuckled. "I hope I'm not interrupting, but I'd also like to join in." She remembered the talk about wishing to be a carefree kit, and Cherryfang hoped that she could reclaim that innocence just for a little while.

Cherryfang grinned evily at Hollyheart, and she sheathed her claws. No need for any injuries. The older warrior sprang at the younger one with feigned clumsiness, allowing for Hollyheart to use a defensive move of her choice.

{In a few days, my time, Ravenpaw and Stonepaw will be getting their warrior names, and Rainkit, Spottedkit, and Swiftkit will get their apprentice names. Depending on how fast the RP will move, Brownpaw and Maplepaw will get their warrior name from a week to two weeks after Ravenpaw and Stonepaw will become warriors. Is that alright with everyone?}
