A few moons ago, a great war took place between the four clans. Many lives were lost and much blood spilled, filling the forest with the cries of fighting and dying cats. After the war, the remaining survivors were scattered about the forest: the clans separated and broken. Dovestar, the ex-Riverlcan leader, came up with the idea to unite these remaining cats into one new clan so that they may survive the coming leafbare. This was how Dawnclan was first formed.
After a little while, Stormblaze, the deputy of Dawnclan, became fed up with how Dawnclan was being run under the guidance of Dovestar and left, forming his own clan: Stormclan. Now the remaining cats from the four clans are divided between these two clans, and tensions are running high not only between the two clans but among them as well as bad blood never dies. Can these cats learn to understand and tolerate each other, or will their histories and old blood force them apart?

What will happen when you begin to view your clanmates as your enemies? Be careful, Hollypaw. It's a dangerous path you walk, and you just might take a wrong turn.

Prophecy

In a time when all is lost and desperation and weakness ensue, there will be six who will emerge to save the forest: three of dawn and three of storm. These six cats will be of all sorts, and distrust will surely stand an obstacle. However, only through cooperation will the forest be saved or else forever destroyed.

❧ The mods and I reserve the right to kick someone from the roleplay/not accept their forms for not following the rules and/or roleplaying inadequately.
❧ Please wait to be accepted before roleplaying.
❧ No powerplaying/Godmodding and no Mary/Gary Sue characters

Rules Regarding Cats & Clans

❧ Your cats may switch between clans if they would like
❧ Do NOT make a new clan without asking first. I MAY let you make one, but you need to ask first.
❧ You may break the warrior code, but remember that there are consequences if you're caught
❧ Drama is VERY encouraged (we're a dramatic bunch, so there will be lots of it!)
❧ Don't kill another cat without the user's permission first
❧ If your cat dies then you may continue to play them as a Starclan or Dark Forest cat (As we all know, just because a warrior is dead doesn't mean they're gone! *cough* Tigerstar *cough*)

Literacy Rules

❧ Please use {..} or ((...)) in OOC
❧ Use proper grammar and punctuation
❧ Type 2 sentences minimum (or one good one if you ABSOLUTELY have to)
❧ Check your spelling. I learned that the hard way! (Ehem, rping should NOT have an a between the r and the p, thank you autocorrect.)

Romance Rules

❧ You may not be your own mate, but your cats may have crushes on each other for drama/plot purposes.
❧ Kits may not like warriors and vice versa.
❧ Forbidden romance is perfectly fine, but be careful no one finds out.
❧ Fade to black when mating/kitting.
❧ Affairs are okay, but again, be careful no one catches you.

Warrior Code

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
