Hayden's eyes widened a little as she though he was against her cat at the park "oh, no, no. By all means he's welcome. Since my staff lives on site they have pets of their own. He just can't be around the animals here too much. Some of them won't take kindly to his presence. He can stay in in the interns house with everyone. " Hayden was smiling, not too worried about the cat, he loved them a lot, so him denying another would be sacrilege. "Once everyone, or the majority, are all here I'll show you guys around and introduce you to the animals you'll be working with for the next six months." he was very excited, as normal, to the new interns. Hayden always loved seeing more people with a similar passion for animals. It brought much happiness to his heart. "I haven't gone to see any of them yet, so the ones who are more social will be more than willing to meet you" he added, hearing more cars outside.

I walk towards the man who I guessed was in charge, judging by the way he crossed his arms and, well........just looked like he owned the place. I shove my hands in my plain gray sweatshirt. I start speaking as I near him. "Hi. I'm Laura." I say nervously. "I'm here because of an internship." I say scanning the area around me. This looked like my kind of place. I can't wait till we get started. "So are you the owner?" I ask curiously, making sure I had the right person.

Luke took a moment to think about how he wanted to word his answer, "I grew up mostly alone, and only ever felt like animals were my permanent family." He sighed and held open the door for Kieran, "Plus, i always enjoy new experiences, and my love for wolves wouldn't let me pass up this opportunity." After entering the building, he made his way over to the group of people that were standing in the lobby, "Hope we aren't late. I'm Luke, Luke Brienne."

"He is a gorgeous cat. My name is Alex, and it's a pleasure to meet you." Alex turned her attention towards the new people walking in the door. She kept a smile on her face and listened as they introduced themselves. She was looking forward to getting to know these people more.

Kieran nodded along as Luke spoke. Woah, that dude had a reason. And it was a good one. Kier could respect him for that. Plus 5. He thought to himself, tallying up the 'like points' as if everything was no more than a simple video game. Figuring he might as well trail Luke considering the two of them were going inside, the man stepped through the doorway just a few seconds after. Almost instantly he could see the small crowd gathering on the other side of the building. Hurrying to catch up with Luke, Kieran introduced himself just a few seconds after. "I'm Kieran Darkmore," he said, as his brown jewels flickered abut the assorted group of bodies.

Hayden watched as people kept coming in, three more entered the main building. "it's nice to meet you Laura, Luke, and Kieran. I'm Hayden, owner of the park. I'll really be the only staff member you work with. " his voice was friendly and inviting, something he tried hard to always keep. It was easy for him to not be so friendly, but he did try to keep a happy face. "There's still four more people coming. We can get started though. Hayden then looked back at the desk, walking around and grabbing what he needed. He mumbled a little under his breath but then nodded. It was going to have to be as good as it was going to get. "well go to the interns house and you guys can drop you things off, then I'll give you a small tour of the place and the animals you'll be working with. " the twenty five year old then went to the over door and held it open for them to walk out. The first animal of the park was the lions. They were the first animal the park ever got. And they had a small lineage of the big cats there.

I obediently follow the owner, looking around at my fellow interns. They all looked pretty interesting. Definitely not the sort of people I would usually become friends with. But, hey, if they were animal lovers, I'm sure I'll like them. I look forward to learning their stories.

The lions were the first to see. Although tigers are my favorite animals, lions were also kinda cool. Definitely magestic. I could tell already I like this place. "Excuse me," I start half whispering. "How many total animals do you have here?" I ask.

She looked over her shoulder, watching her mother and brother leave with emotionless eyes. She waved slightly as they drove passed but quickly turned around as they were out of her sight. She adjusted the duffle bag on her shoulder and started to walk towards the main entrance. Following the crowd, she made her walk to the main building and saw there were loads of people inside. Mattea cocked her head to the side, wondering if they were the other interns. Most likely She thought to herself, watching them for a few more moments. Then they started to file out, and Mattea's mind was racing. Am I too late? She asked herself on top of 100 other different questions. She questioned if she should quickly join them, and just blend in like she was always there. Mattea nodded to herself and quickly stepped in the door, catching up to them but staying behind slightly to make it less obvious.
She ran her fingers through her dyed blonde hair, observing the crowd in front of her. The guy at the front was obviously the owner of this place, and he seemed quite strict at first sight. Hopefully he wasn't that stern, she didn't want a repeat of her mother while she was basically on holidays. Anytime she got to spend time away from her household was a holiday, and hopefully this would be a good one. Adjusting the bag once more, Mattea scanned the other interns. They all seemed to look friendly, but she knew all too well that looks could be deceiving. She shrugged, and started to wonder about the cabins. Would they be split into boys and girls? What about mixed cabins or same sex cabins? Mattea sighed slightly, she didn't really mind but she wanted someone she got along with.

Jacob pressed down on his car horn furiously, almost yell and screaming at the drivers in front of him. He had a terrible case of road range, and today was not the day that he needed there to be traffic. At this rate, he'd be 2 hours late and leave a horrible first impression. He'd have to find the cabins by himself, unpack by himself and find the group by himself. He'd be behind everyone else whom have had a 2 hour head start. He was almost praying that he wasn't the only one late. The traffic started to move slowly, but it felt like one centimetre every 10 minutes. So to calm himself down, Jacob put on his 'Fall Out Boy' CD on and jammed out while he was waiting, hoping it would distract him from the time.
Time went by and Jacob had listened to 3 full albums. By the end of the third song in the fourth album, the wildlife park was in his sight. Jacob almost jumped from his seat with joy, pumped for his time at the park. there didn't seem to be many people around, which made Jacobs smile turn into a slight frown. Maybe he was the only one late? What would happen if he was? Jacob started to worry, but didn't let it show. He parked his car, got out and grabbed his bags, stuffing his pillow under his arm before shutting the boot. He locked the car, turning around to watch the lights go on and off, then faced the front again. Jacob walked towards the main building, walking in and dropping his bags on the floor. He starched his head, wondering where everyone was. He waited for the owner to come, por at least come back from where ever he was.

There was a gentle crunching sound from the young mans feet as he walked. He heard the one intern, Lauren? No, no, Laura. Definitely Laura. Hayden was always bad with names, especially when he was over whelmed with them all at once. The number was easy, something he always knew, and had to know. It was important information for him to know. "I have 114 animals here. 30 different species. And you guys will get to work with 23 of them. Including miss Dodge over there," he said with a warm smile as he looked at her. The old lioness was brushing against the fence, chuffing to her caretaker she had eat to see. "she's our oldest lion, " he added and kept walking to the interns house. It wasn't a long walk and Hayden opened the door. "So this is where we'll all be staying. I don't really stay I. My home for personal reasons. Roommates are all posted by bedroom doors. You guys make yourselves at home, I'll be back in A few, I'm going got go see if there are any stragglers in the building." he said and then walked out and back to the main building, walking inside and looking for any others who might be there a touch late.

I look on the list to see who I'm with. Alexandria. I looked around to see who that was, even though I don't know anybody's name. She turned around and looked at the list again. That's strange. Some of the partners were boy girl. I would of thought the would at least split us into same gender cabins. I step back to let the others look at who they're with. Now where were the tigers? Lions were nice, but I can't wait till we see the tigers. I had loved tigers for forever. Ever since I was in middle school and had gone to a tiger rescue. Middle school was also partly why I was here. If my story's like that, I wonder what everyone else's will be. I thought. These people were my saviors. Especially the owner. Without him I would still probably be in some dead end job just completely miserable. I look around for Alexandria once again, coming back to real life from my day dreams.

His excitement to work with the animals increased as they passed by the old lioness. After they arrived at the dorms, he waited for a chance to check the dorm list. Mattea. That was his roommates name. He hadn't recognized the name, so he decided to turn around and ask the few people around him that he didn't know if they were Mattea.

A smile crossed Alex's face as they passed by the lioness. She seemed so happy to see Hayden and it was clear to Alex that he must have a strong connection with all of the animals here. Alex quickly checked the list, before walking over to Laura, "Hi there, Laura right," she questioned. Alex stuck out her hand for a handshake, "I never got to introduce myself. I'm Alexandria, but please call me Alex."
