Alex smiled slightly at her confusion, "Well, how about that small family owned buisness on the west side of town.. In.. A half hour?" He asked, knowing that the place had pretty good food. And it was smaller so it wouldn't be crowded, basically everyone knew that place. And it was hard not to.

Understanding which resturant he was talking about, she arched an eyebrow when he said the time. "B-but then we'd have to go now." Self-conciously, she straightenned her trench coat a little and blushed a little. "Do you have a car close by? Um, maybe I can drive us there?" She suggested, biting her lower lip as she tried to hold back the sudden excitement going through her.

A broad smile spread across the werewolf's face. "Well, I suppose so. And it'd be better off if you drove." The werewolf counter-suggested, diming his smile at thought of his eyesight that sometimes spazzed. But it happened less lately, but he'd probably end up having to get some sort of eye surgery. Alex pushed away his thoughts and looked at how collected Juliet was acting, but just looking in her eyes seemed like she was going to explode. "You don't have to be so reserved." He told her, smiling a bit more again.

Juliet breathed out a sigh at the last thing he said, sort of releived about that. "I'm just... so off guard that a very attractive man who I just met a couple of seconds ago and even scolded is asking me out on a date," She laughed nervously, tucking her hair behind her ear again and blushing a little bit deeper. "Mm, right. The date," Juliet muttered, then she looked up at him and brushed her arm with his, grabbing his hand. "It's going to rain soon, so we'll have to get to my car and fast," She explained to him, starting to walk through the forest. Just the feel of his hand brought shivers down her spine, and she smiled a little wider, wider than she ever has lately. Even that tiny burden wrapped around her finger wasn't so much a burden anymore.

Alex let out a slightly reassuring laugh. "It would've hurt me more if I didn't ask you out, than it did when you scolded me." He said, following closely behind her through the woods. "I don't blame you, either. If I actually had something that was anything from my family, I'd do whatever I could to protect it. But having a... well, unique family, I don't have anything from them." The werewolf muttered, the end of it was mostly to himself.

Juliet looked back at him with a warm smile at the first thing he said, flattered. "Well, I never knew you'd think that way about me," She mused, and laughed a little, like chiming bells. To the last thing he said, her smile dimmed down a little so that it was faint now. "Well, a lot of my family died recently, so I have only what they left behind, myself, and my brother," She explained to him and squeezed his hand a little. "So, they didn't necesarily give anything to me, they just left everything behind when they died. Even my mom left behind her ring..." That her psychotic dad proposed her with, but she wasn't going to say anything about that. "Which is something I wanted to give away. So, are you sure you don't want it?" She asked him.

The werewolf nodded understandingly, he knew how it felt to be left behind, and at that moment started to get mad at Stefen. But he calmed himself before he'd get too angry. He got distracted when they came out of the woods and over by a ranch house, with a barn and pastures and what not. "Yeah. I'm pretty sure." He said, somewhat sidetracked in his thoughts. It was quite hard to comprehend.. That his own dad died just because he refused to kill someone named 'Rubis' because Jack was in love with her.

Juliet nodded and felt a few drops on her deep red hair and started moving them both quickly towards her porche, and smiled sheepishly back at him. "Um, don't think I'm that rich, because I'm not," She confessed shyly, unlocking all the doors and sliding into her drivers seat. As she waited for him to get into the passenger seat, she turned on the car and started the heater before rubbing her hands together. Winter time in the city, it was nice, but too cold for her. Afterall, she was really used to the California heat.

Alex sat himself in the passenger seat. "Well, that sounds believable enough." The werewolf said with a simple shrug. "Well, anyway. Nice car..." He said, not really knowing how someone that didn't have a small fortune to spend would be able to purchase a car like this. It was true that it could be stolen.. But it wasn't his buissness.
