Arrowpaw huffed, then said " Ok." She started sniffing along their side of the border, and the only scent of TimberClan was stale, and it was on TimberClan's side. She sighed, then said " When will i become a warrior?

Antlerclaw was nosing his way through some long grass, coming up and sneezing after his nose had been pricked by a nettle. He glanced sideways at his apprentice, his tailtip flicking thoughtfully.
"Usually, after moons of battle and hunting training, the apprentices are graduated to warriors. Some, it takes less time. Others, a little longer. It all depends on when you're ready to do what's right, regardless of personal preferences." He looked down at the grass again, suddenly tasting vole nearby. "You do what is best for the Clan." He suddenly took off into the bushes, coming back moments later with a plump vole clamped between his jaws. Despite his aching hunger, he set the vole down. "Not what pleases you."

[Knuckles the Echidna]

Grainclaw stood by the prey pile, sniffing at a thrush. She was hungry, but it felt like she had just eaten not too long ago. She looked down at her swollen belly, her lithe figure gone now. Well, I am feeding other little ones too... She reached down and grabbed the feathered prey, retreating to somewhere else to eat it.

Arrowpaw sighed, then said " I just want to be one now though!" She sighed, then looked at the vole her mentor caught. She sighed again, thinking of Pebblestep for a moment, the flashing back to what was going on in front of her.

The she-cat didn´t get much sleep, so she padded outside her den. She spotted GrainClaw, sinffing at a thrush. The leader went over to her, dipping her head respectfully towards the queen."Hello, GrainClaw. How have you been?" She meowed in a calm tone.

--------------Leopardfur was evidently too shocked by his words to answer, which was fine by Birchfrost. He perked up when Ravenstar called a clan meeting, going over to join the rest of his clan.

--------------Hareleap was outside of camp, therefore he didn't hear Ravenstar call the clan meeting. He felt trapped inside the camp's walls, and the forest air was refreshing his frazzled nerves.

--------------A familiar voice caused Birchfrost to spin around, his eyes warm and friendly. Barkfur had been a warrior long before he had, and the younger tom looked up to the seasoned warrior. His loyalty was admirable, and his refusal to become an elder made him even more popular, in Birchfrost's eyes.

-------"I'd love to go hunting, Barkfur. I've been itching to get out of camp all day - although I don't quite know where Hareleap is at this point. He's probably snuck outside to go hunting already. If we see him, we can ask him to join us." he responded, flattered that the older male wanted to go hunting with him.

-------If he were younger, I might go for him. Birchfrost thought, admiring the handsome pelt and eyes of the older tom, although his daughter Amberfur was more to Birchfrost's tastes. Get ahold of yourself, and stop checking him out. he ordered, feeling a bit ashamed of himself.

The old tom nodded lightly."Well, then why don´t I get AmberFur instead? Why don´t you go wait by the Camp exit, while I get her?" He asked before getting up and leaving to find his kin. Soon enough, he found AmberFur, hiding behind the warriors den.

--------------Birchfrost stepped backwards as commotion filled camp. He pinned his ears back in distress at the sight of Ravenstar soaked with blood. Cats swarmed around and near him like the tide, all the while his eyes were filled with uncertainty and rage.

-------"I trust whoever did this was sent to their ancestors, Leopardfur." he snarled to the deputy, his hackles raised but claws still sheathed. He was furious that his leader had been hurt.

-------"Maybe if you all had done your jobs and followed the warrior code, Ravenstar and Pebblepaw wouldn't be hurt right now." his usually calm, smooth voice was filled with acid as he spat these words at Leopardfur and Pikefang before storming away. He couldn't believe they had been so careless - what if this had been Ravenstar's last life? That mousebrain of a she-cat would've taken over, and Birchfrost knew if that happened the clan would be doomed.

-------"Stupid she-cat." he mumbled under his breath, watching but not really seeing the rest of the camp's humm.

--------------Hareleap's eyes went wide as his leader was rushed into camp. He'd seen fighting before, and blood was nothing new to the tom - but to see cats caring for one another, without promise of a reward, was shocking to him. He thought about helping but realized that the care required was far out of his knowledge range; he would only be in the way.
