Macie smiled and looked at the water ''I love swimming.'' she said and jumped into the water, causing a splash. She poked her head out of water and looked at Kaapo, softly chuckling. Macie began to swim around in the water, getting used to it.

"Awesome!" He said, jumping into the water creating an even bigger splash. He started to swim some, loving the way the water made him cold in an second.

Macie went far away from the land and found an island. She swam towards it and saw a small human's house. She went into it, seeing the door was opened. ''Nobody here, just furniture.....'' she softly said and looked at some pictures.

Kaapo laid in the sand, after getting really cold from the water.

Macie shrugged and remembered Kaapo. She went out of the house and towards the water, swimming back. She sat next to Kaapo.

Kia grins at them and then she starts to run toward the city. She wanted to find other dogs, especially nice dogs. While she was walking, she caught the familiar scent of the dogcatcher. Kia quickly hid and it drove by. She breathed a sigh of relief until she saw it following a group of three dogs. They had met at a busy street and as they waited for a good time to cross, the dogcatcher was driving closer and closer. Kia quickly barked a warning and ran toward them.

Miley nodded and she was following the conversation until it got to the part about the road. She hated roads, especially busy ones like this one. Her ears flicked nervously, but she took a deep breath and nodded. She looked straight at Reggie and she said, "I'm ready." Miley looked as cars went back and forth. She would see an opening every now and then, but she waited for Reggie's call.

Marcus sighed inwardly and he thought, 'Great. I get to cross a busy road when I can't catch my breath..' He quickly pushed the thought away, and determination drove away the nervousness. Marcus had crossed many roads before safely, and he hoped that this one wouldnt be any different. "I'm ready too," he said, finally catching his breath.

He nodded to them both and watched the cars closely, trying to calm his panic. What was worse? Getting hit by a car or getting caught by the dog catcher? He could the images of him and the other two, getting hit and laying motionless on the ground. He heard a bark and turned his head, snapping out of his panic and seeing another dog racing toward them. He spotted a break in the chain of cars and barked. "Now!" He leaped forward, moving as fast as his legs would carry him. Only once he was over to the other side did he dare look over his shoulder, hoping that Miley and Marcus had kept pace with him and if the other dog followed, then hoping she would make it safely across as well.

Kia saw them look up and run away once they had heard her bark. A smile appeared on her muzzle and she quickly followed after them. She narrowly missed a car as it drove by, and she breathed a sigh of relief. Kia looked arpss the road where the dogcatcher was. He had gotten out of his van and he was looking around for the group of three stray dogs. Kia laughed and she looked for the group. When she found them, she bounded up to them and said, "Hi, I'm Kia. The dogcatcher stopped following you when you crossed the busy street, so you don't need to worry about him now." Kia was so happy that she had found other dogs, but then she paused. She had no idea if they were the mean strays or not. Then, the biggest male pitbull started growling and coming closer to her. She whimpered slightly and stepped back a few steps.

Miley heard his call and she ran as fast as she could, which was easy for her. Her build was slender, yet muscular, and she was the best when speed running or doing sprints. Reggie was infront of her, while Marcus was behind. Suddenly, she was worried about Marcus. He had never been good at running very fast because of his big, bulky build. As soon as she was safely on the other side, she looked behind her to look for Marcus.

Marcus had been preparing himself for running the entire time that they were waiting for a break in the traffic. He knew he wasn't a fast runner like Miley, but he had to make it to the other side. He had to protect Miley, and he couldn't do that if he died. When Reggie called, he ran, fast. He narrowly missed a car, but he had made it to the other side. He grinned at Miley and Reggie then sat down to catch his breath. Suddenly a female husky came running up to them. He was too shocked to do anything at first, but then he started growling and stood in front of Miley protectively.

He let out a heavy sigh of relief as he saw that both Miley and Marcus had made it across safely. "Come on, we can rest in-" though he broke off when he saw the same dog as before. He tilted his head at the female husky though gave her a friendly smile. He looked at Marcus as he began growling and stood in front of Miley. "She helped us Marcus, i don't think she's any threat." he said, glancing to Miley. Marcus might not take his word for it, but he knew he'd listen to Miley. "I'm Reggie, this is Miley, and mr. growlsalot here is Marcus. Thanks for helping us, by the way." he told her.

Kia breathed a sigh of relief when the very large male pitbull stopped growing at her. She smiled at each of them then said, "It's nice to meet all of you! My name is Kia. When the female pitbull shouldered past the one that had growled at her, she laughed slightly though quietly. It was obvious that these two knew each other and trusted one another. She turned to the one who had made introductions, Reggie, and she smiled at him. "You're welcome. I like helping others, though I can sometimes be too helpful."

Miley smiled at the newcomer. Then, she turned to Reggie and gave him a 'You tried' kind of look. She shouldered past Marcus and told him to be quiet. She nodded to the newcomer, Kia, and she said, Yes, thank you for warning us." Then, she chuckled and said, "I can be overly trusting as well, but my brother Marcus over there is very protective over me." She nodded toward Marcus so that she would know who she was talking about.

Marcus continued to growl after Reggie told him to stop. Though he trusted him, only few could tell him to stop. One of those was Miley and once she told him to, he did. Though he was still wary of Kia, he could tell that she was friendly and not likely to hurt them. She had helped them after all.
