Polaris and Symphony of Dreams.

Symphony of Dreams, they called her. A Dreamweaver, one of those who bring terror or happiness to those at night. Ambition was created by her, fueled by her craft; everyone knew, though, that she did not control where the ambition went.

So why were the Council Elders blaming her now for the crimes of those who used their ambition in the wrong way? Why was she, the Dreamweaver, the one who had done so much wrong yet so much good, being exiled from the Place of the Stars? She had fought so hard against the Nightsteeds that did nothing but torture those who slumbered, and was victorious many times over.

All the same, she did not look back as she stepped out of the gates. A crowd had gathered to watch her leave, many as confused as I was about the motives of the Elders. We stood in silent ranks, with a direct path towards the twisted silver marking the border of our territory, as was tradition; not a breath of wind stirred us, as if even the air knew this was a solemn time.
