She grinned as her mentor approved of her eagerness to leave camp before turning to Redstar, awaiting his response. The white she-cat curled her tail around her hind leg, apprehensively glimpsing up at the leader before casting her gaze toward Falconheart as he buried the bones of his prey and disappeared into the forest.

Redstar smiled. "I don't see why not. Hey, Tallshadow!" He called as the tom entered camp. "You're in charge while I'm out hunting." Then he turned back to the two cats. "Shall we get going?"

She purred. "Sure." she meowed, following after Redstar.

Stallioncry returned to camp, he'd managed to catch a squirrel as well as his mouse. He was a little crestfallen that he'd hadn't managed to catch more. He stretched out in camp in the sun. (OPEN)

Darkpaw rushed after his mentor. He stopped abruptly as he caught the scent of pigeon. He skidded in the dirt, ears pricked. He stalked off after it.

Raptorfang was stretched out asleep in the clearing. Her tail flicked and she yawned, opening an eye she gazed lazily around. (OPEN)

Half satisfied with what she had caught- a mouse and a pair of thrush- Bluepaw decided it was time to return. Grabbing the prey she began to make her way towards camp and dropped the prey on the pile when she got there. She wandered around for a few moments as she decided what to do before hopping onto a rock and stretching herself across it, enjoying the warm.

Beartalon turned around as his apprentice skidded to a halt. At that very second, he picked up the faint trace of pigeon. Very good, Darkpaw! He thought, not daring to say anything. I'll congratulate him later. The giant tom decided, eyes fixed on the you cat.

Darkpaw got into a crouch and pulled himself along the ground silently. His eyes were wide and his pupils huge. His tail tip flicked and he let a little trill of excitement. He crept further forward. His ears perked upwards as he heard a noise. The pigeon had heard it too. It took off into the air. Darkpaw propelled himself after it with only a heartbeats hesitation. He batted it down onto the ground and killed it before it could let out a warning cry. "What a messy catch," he spat, furious with himself for letting the bird get off the ground.

"Of course," Tallshadow meowed with a dip of his head. He then settled down in a shady spot, the undergrowth shielding him from the harsh midmorning sunlight.

Partridgepaw followed the two others out of camp, her ears pricked. Coming into line with her father, she gazed up at the tom with a prance in her step.

Beartalon watched as his apprentice almost miss the prey. Oh, good, at least he got it. Flicking his long, bushing tail, he let out a purr and padded over to Darkpaw. "Remember, don't move your tail. It could have warned others." He mewed, scenting mouse in the bushes near them. Raising his tail, he dropping into a hunter's crouch. Leaping towards it, he landed on a plump mouse.

Darkpaw smiled at the praise. He buried the pigeon and stalked off after a grouse. He paused and tasted the air.
After a good few minutes he'd managed to catch a mouse. He'd missed the grouse and the previous mouse.
