He sighed as she walked away quickly. She would never talk to him, he knew that for a fact. He turned around and left her to her business.

she watched as batclaw came to stand by her. she rested her tail on his shoulder and kept it there. for two reasons, one to be friendly and two to alert him just in case. she hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way. she kept her gaze on the kitty pet, never braking contact of her moves. her claws were still unleashed, just in case. alaska's voice surprised her. was he a warrior? she asked gently, now wanting the answers badly. anger raged inside her but she kept her emotions inside. her face and eyes were calm, yet friendly but inside she was angry, worried, and surprised. she gently leaned on the tom hoping that he would get her message to stay calm.

he ran his chin under her's. his neck fur tingled as he touched her soft neck and chin. he slowly retreted with a smile, he had eon his job and would soon walk off to goursepaw to train.

"My mom said he was....I never met him....he never came back once he learned mom was pregnant. I-I guess he was ashamed of us...or afraid h-he would get caught...." Alaska said quietly. Her ears were still pinned back. That other she cat made her uneasy. Her friendly nature seemed to shadow something else. Alaska looked over at the tom, then back down to her paws. Was HE secretly suppressing his emotions too? It was hard for poor Alaska to tell. She remained silent after that, waiting for the two clan cats to respond.

He snorted in frustration when his mentor could seem to get her own priorities in order. With a grunt, the impatient tom pushed himself to his paws and lashed his tail in contempt, sprinting out of the camp entrance and pushing past both Gorsepaw and Silentpaw with a cackle. He was prancing with his tail high, following the scent of anything that happened to be in reach. There was a small mouse on the ground and he grinned. Stalking towards it like any sensible tom, he ended up catching it without much effort at all. But he didn't kill it. With a smirk, he held the creature's tail in between his claws and began to toss it about like a rag doll. "You are a disgrace to all your kind," he mewed lazily as it squirmed about in his paws. Finally, he delivered a quick bite to the creatures head and buried it in the earth for someone else to bring it back to camp. If nobody found it, that wasn't his problem.

The tuxedo she-cat picked her way through the forest as quiet as air until she found comfort in the shade of a tree. Somehow, she'd managed to lose Grousepaw and that was for the best. She wouldn't know what to say or even how to hold a conversation with the other. She didn't have anything to say. Everything was just so pointless and redundant. With a heavy sigh, she collapsed into the dust with her head resting on her paws. Though, a distant sound made her perk her ears in interest but she flicked a dismissive tail. What if it's dangerous? Her eyes widened at the thought. I can't fight it... I don't want to. Still though, she stalked towards the odd scent until she spotted the stranger. Her heart beat against her chest. W-what should I do? I have to defend the territory. But... As if a miracle from Starclan themselves, two cats appeared moments later. Hawkfeather... Batclaw. She silently gave thanks and slunk away, mentally bashing her head in for being so uncertain of herself and such a coward. I'll never be a warrior. What do they all expect of me? In a bout of anger, she padded back into camp where she belonged. I barely lasted ten minutes out there and I didn't even bring back any prey. The apprentice satin the shadows of the camp with a sullen expression, wishing to fade out of existence. Ashkit wouldn't have run away. Neither would Tallstep. And I couldn't do anything to help them.

The warrior nodded to Russetstar and followed after silently. Scents of prey filled his mind and before he knew it, Eaglethorn was on the trail of an Indian mongoose. The creature was somewhere nearby and with a tap to Russetstar's flank with his tail, he pointed the creature out. A bit smaller than a cat, he figured it would still be quite tricky to bring down. He waited quietly to see what Russetstar would have him do.

the molly slid into the river in camp. her legs lazyily pushing her small frame forward. her whiskers twitching as she kept her head above water.

So it perhaps was forbidden romance. as if reading his mind once more, hawfeather placed her tail on his shoulder and questioned alaska once more. The medicine cat knew what she was signaling, but at the same time, he inwardly cringed. The deputy was sizzling inwardly; he could hear the thinly veiled venom in her voice.

So, he gently popped her rank with his tail, telling her to relax. Even as the shecat admitted it was forbidden romance. Milky eyes locked on her, no emotion t ransmissioned. But his thoughts went wild.

she nodded, then felt batclaw's tail. she sat down, wrapping her tail neatly and gently around her feet. she smiled now. okay... she meowed making her voice relax and become friendly. she locked eyes with batclaw quickly and raised her eye brows then turned to alasa, now relaxed. it was a forbidden relationship! she thought surprised. did your father die? she meowed really gently, knowing that it was a bad topic because with her own father scars were still there and fresh.

Alaska squirmed a little bit. She was uncomfortable now."I-I don't know. After m-mother told him she was pregnant, he came around less and less. Then, a few days before she gave birth to me and my siblings, he didn't come. He has not come again. He never even told mom goodbye. She assumed he was worried about getting caught, or that something had happened with his clan and he had been killed." Alaska said quietly. She no longer felt at home here. Now she just felt nervous. She did not know what to do. Should she be telling them all this? Her mother was dead, and her father might be. They would not hurt her, would they?!
