danielle sat on her bedroom floor, strumming her surf green stratocaster along to "the quiet things that no one ever knows" by brand new as it played quietly from her phone. she was in the middle of the chorus when she was interrupted by a quiet "ding", signaling that she'd gotten a text. with a quiet sigh, the brunette paused the song and took a moment to read the message from kay. "alright," she responded. "be there in a few! :]" dani cracked her knuckles as she got up off the floor, walking over to where she kept her shoes. she shoved her feet into a pair of plain black high tops, sliding her guitar into its case. swinging the large black bag over her shoulder, she headed out to her car, keys in one hand and phone in the other. it was a fairly nice day, and she wished that she could go to the park or for a walk, but band practice was something that danielle never missed. she'd dedicate all of her free time to her band if she had to, simply because it meant so much to her. after a fifteen minute drive, she'd arrived at kay's house, and parked her car down the street to avoid filling up the girl's driveway. dani grabbed her guitar from the passenger's seat of her 2015 kia soul, carrying it on her shoulder as she walked up to kay's front door and gave it three hard knocks. "i'm here!" she called, loud enough for anyone inside the house to hear.

Athena sat on the edge of the stage swinging her legs back and forth. She had just finished setting up the speakers for the Battle of the Bands and was now looking up good cafes around this city. They had to have a Starbucks somewhere... One of the roadies came up to Athena,"Miss Elm? Your agent told me that you would need to go hang out somewhere around town for some reason.". She looked up at the man and gave a smile to him wondering what her agent wanted. Probably to stir up some excitement for the competition by a people seeing her. "Thanks. I guess I am going to that Starbucks after all." Athena stood and exited the stage area.

Kay started walking around the house in boredom, then finally decided to head upstairs, to her room. Suddenly, she heard another text message come through. Glancing down at her phone, she noticed the message had come from Danielle. She read it, then smiled and texted back, Ok - see you soon! ^.^ She then sent the message and slid the device back into her pocket. A little while later, she was in the living room, lying on the couch and listening to music. She quietly hummed along, lightly tapping her foot against the cushion to the beat. Knock, knock, knock. She paused her music upon hearing the bright sound, which came from the front door. It was one of her bandmates, quite possibly, she thought. Right after that, she heard a familiar voice announce that they had arrived - Danielle, no doubt. "Coming!" she responded in a chipper tone as she rose to her feet and walked up to the door. She unlocked the lock, and swung it open - surely enough, her bandmate was on the other side of the doorframe. "Hey, Dani!" she greeted the girl with a bright smile, stepping aside so that her friend could walk in.

Alexander smiled and nodded a bit as Violet pulled her phone out. While she was doing that, he glanced around as he waited in line. When it was finally his turn to check out, he handed the album to the person behind the counter. While they were ringing that up, Alex looked over at Violet when she spoke once more. "Ah, alright," he responded with a nod. Of course, he didn't mind this at all. As soon as the clerk told him the total, he gave her the money, and then she handed him the album. He thanked her with a polite smile, then glanced over at Violet again. "Well, I'm ready to go whenever you are," he said as he stepped out of the line.

(I've got a slight case of writer's block on this one...sorry ;-; )

danielle grinned as the door swung open, adjusting the strap of her guitar case on her left shoulder. "hey!" she said sweetly, giving kay a hug as she made her way inside. she took a quick glance around, not seeing any of her other bandmates. "am i the first one here?" she asked, glancing over at kay. danielle was almost never early to practice, but it was better than being late, she reminded herself.

Chandler arrived home, pulling his jacket off and hanging it on a coat rack. He looked at his phone, Alex, Violet and Georgina were for sure coming. Chandler waited a while to see if Sarah was coming, then threw his phone onto the couch in the living room and plopped down next to it, waiting for the three, and maybe four, if Sarah was coming. He picked up his phone, texting the reply to them. 'Alright, guys, see you in a bit :) oh, and Vi, in around 10?' Chandler sent.
