He shrieked and tried
hiding behind his latte cup.

"Okay..."
he said with a smile, and walked over
to the counter, and
glanced back at her.
"What type?"
he asked.

•Shiori Yoshiko•

• It had not been long since Shiori's heart fell into an endless hole of aching sorrow. She only recently fell in love with a person she thought was sent from heaven. Everything was going smoothly, until the day came where the two retreated from eachother. It wasn't Shiori's idea and to be brutally honest- She was completely devestated by her previous boyfriend's declaration. You could say she built up a wall after that break up. Her bubbly and enthusiastic attitude did not drift away into the ocean, but her unprotected self around the male species did change. She turned stubborn, if you would like to put it that way.

• In fact, she thought she was the reason why everything fell apart. She thought she was just not compatible for loving another person. But it was actually the other way around- Her past love, was simply not suitable for an intense relationship. He did directly mention it as he told Shiori his last words, but somehow the brunette was too overwhelmed to keep her ears focused. It is not unusual for the relatively tall girl to avoid important ques. It happens so often, people mistake her as arrogant. Her nickname even happens to be, 'Clumsy Yoshi'. She tends to walk around the most helpful shortcuts, if you had to plant her clumsy state in a metaphor.

• If you had to take a peek in Shiori's mind, you would be greeted with a wreck. She is in no means organized and so are her conversations. One moment you will be conversing about instant noodles, while the other you are theorizing about the meaning of life. To make it a bit simpler, she is an unorganized, clumsy, random, overly extroverted mess. I am pretty sure she is not meant for serious and silent people, but still, she is quite fun to be around, if she isn't dropping her books to stare at a painting with awe. Oh yes, Yoshiko is most likely the brightest in her school- Well, she has the brightest attitude and outlook on life... But I am not sure, if that also applies to her grades.

• Her shimmering snow colored ears twitched as her green emerald optics were gazing at the ceiling. Her books were tightly clutched to her chest, while her occupied stare filled the rather empty school halls. Lessons were almost done for the day, but it did not seem to stop the white cat to halt her endless day dreaming. That is something I forgot to add- Shiori is quite the day dreaming darling. You wouldn't be surprised, if the brunette ended up getting lost in her own thoughts, leaving you unattended in the chat.

• Before she could drop her sight back onto a cautious level, an abrupt bump against warmth made her squeak, while letting her books go flying. Her eyes were shut for the moment as she hit the ground. Her optics creeked open as she obtained her balance and looked at the victim of her relentless day dreaming. It was a boy with raven colored hair and he appeared quite familiar to Yoshiko. His name was Jamin, if she remembered correctly. He shares a few classes with her.

Her mouth opened to apologize with ruby red cheeks, "I am so sorry! I will pay you lunch, anything!"

The blonde whinned.
"S-Sorry..."

He blushed ever so slightly.
He felt a bit surprised, and awkward.
"...and I'm Karen..."
he muttered.

Jamin

The raven haired boy had just walked out of class, his hands in his pockets.
Geography class had just ended, and he was thankful for that. He had fallen
asleep, again. Eh, geography wasn't his favorite anyways.He just had to ask the
nerd , what was his name, Todd , to do his homework again. That was it.
Problem solved. He walked over to his locker and unlocked it, fishing out a history book.
It was history class next, not that he liked history. Nothing but stories about dumb wars,
and dead old kinds anyway. He pulled out his free hand from his pocket, and ran them through
his raven locks. He passed a few girls, whom he heard whispering.
"Oh...look! Its the Emo!..." Jamin heard them whisper.Even though he had a large group
of friends, and he was one of the most popular guys here, he was still known as the 'Emo'
by his friends, classmates and probably everybody else, due to his reserved, snappy and
quite attitude. I'm not Emo...I'm just different from all of you... he thought to himself,
but shrugged off the thought. It seemed too soft for someone like him. He walked on,
regardless of where is legs were taking him, that when he snapped out of his thoughts,
he looked in front of him a second before he bumped into a girl. He was pushed back,
and his books fell on the ground. He grunted and looked at her.It was a brunette with
green glasses. He grunted. If it was a guy, he would probably have cursed and
would have had a go at him. But even though he was Emo, he didn't like to mistreat girls.
"Its okay..." he mummered, picking up his books, then looking at her, tilting his head
ever so slightly. "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?..' he asked in a monotone, not really able
to put a finger on where he had last seen his girl.
