When I played Black 2, my friend chose Tepig, his brother chose Oshawott and I chose Snivy. When they were all evolved we bred them so we had all the starters.

well erm, as iam the only one i know who plays pokemon other then some friends i see on occations i cant really do that.

haha i have a nuzlock where all the pokemon are named after wings of fire charters, the tepig in that is called Vermilion , and i chose tepig cus i hate its evolutions, so it seems fitting for a nuzlock that i use the starter i hate.
