"My wound is from a bullet. Everyday it gets closer to my heart. I don't know when it'll hit, but its bound to be soon. I'm sorry." Ali looked at the ground and closed his eyes.

"I just got here. And found an old friend." said Matthew.

"Isn't there any way to stop it, or get it out?" Shandra asked her tail no longer wagging.

Kyo tilted his head to the side. "An old friend you say, and whom might that be?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow. Although this new wolf seemed mysterious, Kyo still gave a kind-hearted smile.

"I'm sorry." said Ali. "It stays or I go. I should have said."

"Ali." said Matthew.

[Fawnie]

"Ah." Kyo replied, shaking his fur once more. "Well, if you ever need to talk with him, he is in the Healer's den.. which is over there." Kyo added, pointing with his tail twoards the Healer's Den.

"You're sure there is no way to get it out?" Shandra asked sadly.

"No. I'm so sorry." Ali got up and started walking back to his den.

"Thanks." said Matthew, smiling.

Shandra got up and followed Ali. "Wait! Where are you going?" she asked?

"I don't think you want a dying wolf." said Ali.

Matthew watched what was happening. "Do you know whats happening?" he asked Kyo.

"I don't care if you're dying, because I still love you. It just means we need to make the most of the time we have together now," Shandra said as she jogged up next to him.
