His golden eyes looked at the young cats fur, he meowed one word before licking the little apprentices ears,"You will be a great warrior one day, I just know it."

Sunstar nodded. "Lets hope that they aren't bad..." He said softly.

She nodded. "Yes, but the ones that can sort out your feelings are others. A tree can't do that, unless you make it say that, which would be uncanny for me."

He laughs a bit as he swam towards land then climbed up the shore. He flops down on the ground to catch his breathe, relaxing in the warm sun.

I watched Sunstar silently. Would he ever love me? I doubted it, but then... he was leader, so maybe he just didn't have time to love anyone.

She laughed, and kept swimming. Finally growing tired, she pulled herself onto the shore and shook out her pelt.
