Madelyn is a motherly figure. She stands
tall and protects those closest to her,
making sure whoever it is stays safe and
unharmed.As a result of this it makes her
loyal. Her loyalty makes her stay close to her
friends and family when they need her.
Madelyn is also too trusting, probably
one of her worst traits. Since she trust too
much and too easily people can easily
manipulate her and just mess with her trust,
they can borrow things easily from her,
and pretty much ask her for anything.
Madelyn is friendly, always wanting to
befriend others and be a friend to
the world. Being friendly, she is a
really nice plumerian.

Silence. Silence so heavy, Madelyn can hear her own soft breathing. It is a peaceful silence. The thick forest surrounding her is dark, the tall trees casting shadows around her in an almost ominous fashion. However, despite the possible creepiness of the location, there is not a flicker of unease within her. Madelyn knows exactly why she is here. It is only a matter of patience, and of that, the plumerian has plenty.

A soft, peaceful sigh leaves her mouth, and she closes her eyes, a faint smile forming on her muzzle. She's lost track of how long she's been here. It could have been a few minutes, it could have been a few hours, though she hardly cares. She knows that the wait is well worth it.

Come to think of it, it had been far too long since she'd last witnessed this. An entire year had passed, and now, at the beginning of summer, she was here again. All throughout the coldness of winter and the newness of spring she had looked forward to this.

Opening her eyes, she lifted her gaze upward slightly, almost holding her breath. And then she sees it. A small speck of golden light, appearing for a brief second, and gone just as quick. She is unable to hold back the grin, and her eyes light up, her ears prick in excitement.

She holds her breath and counts, makes it to seven, and then there is another small flicker, identical to the first. Two seconds. Then another. And another, and soon, several are lighting up at once.

Yes, so worth the tireless wait. Madelyn sits as still as a statue in the middle of the woods, watching the fireflies dance as they light up the darkness around her.

Personality ;; Overall, Madelyn is a pretty friendly, easygoing plumerian. It isn't hard to get along with her, as she likes making new friends. She's rather mature, however, and has little tolerance for foolishness and foul language. She's a stickler for good manners and has exquisite posture. She has a soft spot for animals and children, and she often acts rather motherly to almost everyone. She means well, of course, but can get a little overbearing without meaning to because of her motherly instincts. Madelyn is also very over protective of her friends, and hates seeing them in trouble. Should they find themselves in such a situation, however, she'll always be there to back them up and isn't afraid to break a few noses to do so. Though she might not seem like much, she can definitely pack a punch if she needs to. Despite that, she doesn't really like violence or getting worked up, and will only resort to it if she really needs to. Even though she is quite outgoing, she does need a little time to herself every now and then, just to wind down a relax, maybe curl up with a good book or her favourite movie. She is also pretty independent when it comes to doing things for herself, and is always very reluctant to accept help from others, even if it's obvious she needs it.

Madelyn in a nutshell:
Madelyn, a unique and rather young Kia, is what one may describe as a beautiful mystery. She is ever kind and loving, extremely devoted to Aden and Skye, her lovely family. She'd die for any of them, as she loves them more than life itself. "Put family first, yourself last," has always been her motto, something that she repeats to herself on the daily basis. If not for this simple montage, she might've lost her mind ages ago. Being a mate is difficult, always dealing with the problems of two rather than one. Parenthood is even more difficult, children being needy but adorable creatures of their own right. Raising up a child the proper way and dealing with the real world, work, taxes, emergencies, is all very tiring work for two, but imagine the individual. They each have minor problems they must overcome daily, all on their own.
Madelyn, however strong a will she has, must have fun. The crazy and fun loving part of herself is down deep, but it is there, so don't get discouraged! It takes great coaxing, from a loved one or dear friend, but she can 'let loose.' It has to be for good reason, however, and at a good time. She greatly prefers late nights on weekends to have fun with her friends or family. She puts family and work before fun, as these two rule above all. But fun is an important factor in her life, too.
Some days, however, Madelyn has had enough. She cannot stand yet another peep or odd glance. She will explode with fury, anger and frustration unleasing itself into violent words thrown at others. She will ridicule and put you down, seemingly regretless. But she does hate these fiery moments of uncontrollable rage; she cannot control them. Stressful situations, a bad day, anything along those lines can, but most likely won't, set her off. The fury must be built up over a period of time before it becomes problematic, and if it does, she gets away from her family. The gym tends to be a good pick, getting out rage and demeaning a punching bag won't hurt anyone's feelings. Unless, of course, the punching bag has feelings. Hopefully not.
