Kovu stepped back as he realized he was acting like his father, Scar. He took a deep breath, and looked at Shenzi. "No Shenzi, you're wrong,'' he said calmly, "I may be the son of Scar, but he was never there for me." Kovu turned around, lashing his tail. "All he did was cause violence, he ruined the Pride Lands, but Shenzi, did I ruin the pride lands?" Kovu replied, narrowing his eyes smartly. "We're all lions, no matter which group we are part of. Sure, I was raised by Zira, but I was taught by Simba."

She growled at the hyena's words and raked her claws on the ground.

You trespassed into our territory..your lucky my father didn't see me come here with Kovu.. He would have beaten you like Mufasa did" She growled.

Kovu leaned closer to Kiara, and whispered in her ear, so nobody could hear,"What's that supposed to mean? Are you saying that i can't beat her up?"
