Would anyone be interested in a showdown based tournament? Or even a spinoff thread specifically for battles on pokemon showdown? It'd open up some neat possibilities for "fun tournies" like themed teams and stuff without people having to spend a ton of time actually building a team in game--also prevents internet connectivity issues.

I'd even be willing to provide prizes in the form of CS pets since I'm not terribly interested in collecting pets anymore

But yeah, just putting the feelers out there before I go through the effort of making a thread or anything

After thinking about it, I would say, that I'm not interested in Showdown, since I rather battle with pokenon that I trained myself, but I would love themed battles. Can't we announce a battle and then give people about four weeks to get a team if they don't have one?
