I smiled and stood up, resting my head on his shoulder. "Good morning."

Upon reaching the river, Bluepaw wasted no time getting her paws yet. She stood with a paw in the rushing water, watching it drift lazily around her paw. It really was beautiful.

Mousepaw

Mousepaw took the chance and playfully pushed Bluepaw into the river.

Bluepaw gave a yelp as she felt herself being pushed, landing heavily in the water. For a moment she panicked as she went under but quickly regained her footing and resurfaced. "Hey!" she whined, splashing water over him. "That wasn't faaair!"

Mousepaw

"Fair? What game are we playing? Oh I know catch the biggest fish in the River!" Mousepaw jumped into the river and landed on top of Bluepaw but not enough to hurt her or push her under the water. "And I think I win!"

Maplepaw

Maplepaw knew she had to make sure they actually fished but she was going to give them a little more time to see if they would get back on task without her.

"I'm not a fish- you might be though, the way you stink at fishing!" Bluepaw shot back with a meow of laughter. "Speaking of which you've probably scared off every fish in the river!"

"I guess that shows how scary and fierce I am" Mousepaw knew she was right so he quickly got out of the water

Bluepaw rolled her eyes and gently cuffed him over the ear before getting out of the water with him, shaking the droplets from her fur. "We better move downstream and look a place with more fish, or Brackencloud'll have our fur."

"I suppose your right, let's pick a spot in the shade it is pretty warm out here.

Maplepaw

Maplepaw didn't notice Mousepaw and Bluepaw moving down stream because she was absorbed in her own thoughts. Did Runningpaw blush when we talked earlier?

"Sure." Bluepaw quickly began padding downstream, keeping an eye out for a good spot when she noticed a few bushes growing along the water. "Here should be good- the bushes can provide shade and hide our shadows."
