"I can wait" Maplepaw was almost done with eat so he picked up a squirrel from the fresh-kill pile and walked over to Bluepaw "Do you want to share this with me?"

Bluepaw glanced at Mousepaw as he approached and offered to share a meal. "Sure!" she said with a smile, sitting up.

Maplepaw thought Mousepaw was lucky to be friends with Bluepaw. She finished eating and started to groom herself, but kept an eye on Mousepaw.

Mousepaw knew that Maplepaw was watching it but he had grown used to her and grew to ignore it. You know earlier today I made it close to the top of the giant fir tree near the river!" It was only partly true, he had made it up pretty far up the tree but he didn't get very close to the top.

"Really? That's pretty far!" Bluepaw meowed, impressed though jokingly added, "Thank Starclan you didn't fall from that! I probably would have had to carry you back to camp." She swatted at him gently with a purr.
