She wanted to get to know they guy. Maybe they could be friends? Maybe. She smiled and kept walking. They were halfway up the stairs when she dropped her book and tripped over it. I knew I would do something stupid. She thought to herself.

Jaxon followed after her and studied her features as she talked, when she asked him why he moved here he sighed slightly, "My dad's work takes us to a lot of places. We don't really stay still..." He explained, trailing off sadly as past relationships have been destroyed due to the moving situation. He didn't want the same to happen with him and Emerson.
Jaxon then noticed her book fall, without a second thought he bent down to pick it up for her.
