I liked how the series is not totally romance-centric. But MJ did read like a video game, and it was so confusing. Another thing that ticked me off is some characters got, like, one paragraph for their death, while others *coughBoggscough* took FOREVER to die! That just went on and on!

I know what you mean. MJ was just like BWAM! slooooowwwwww.... BWAM the war starts. Slowwww*boggs death, BWAM Finnick dies. It was so hard to read, but I was still hooked on reading it. I wish Katniss and Gale had died. :3 I wanted Peeta, Boggs, FINNICK, Madge, President Snow, etc to live. :3

I wish Gale would have died. He's the worst character in the books (in my opinion). At least he will die alone, though. xD

Finnick is pretty fudging awesome, though. He truly always was there, except in book 1. xD

Discussion topic-
Who was the father figure for Katniss?
I think it was Haymitch, personally. He was there to guide her 'til the end of Mockingjay and he treated her as... "family." xD

Katniss's father figure was definantly haymitch. He was there with her through all the books and really did care for her. I think the father figure could've been Plutarch if he had showed up in the first book much (I'm probably the only one who thinks that)
