Her ears flick slightly, lifting her head at Eaglekit's mews. The fluffy orange kit seemed so happy all of a sudden, she wondered if he had some burst of energy. Leaning over, she licks his forehead and back to groom down his messy pelt. Sandkit and Emberkit required a bit less attention with their shorter fur.

I stared blankly into space. When I felt the tears start to roll down my cheeks, I knew I had to leave camp. I walked calmly to a hollow tree and sat there, waiting for the years to dry. It was frivolous to cry over something I couldn't control, I knew.

After finishing burrying her catch of the mouse, the warrior smiled towards Pantherstrike. "Thanks for the compliment." she meowed. As he asked if she remembered him being a kittypet, Cherryblossom tried hard to think back. She finally shook her head. "No, I actually don't remember you being a kittypet. What was it like?" she asked her crush without stuttering or staring at him awkwardly.

murmered, walking forwards, approaching the border. "it's
not something i really talk about anymore, but it is a piece
of me." pantherstrike stared down as he talked. it was
definitely a secret that was kept well, but he wanted to
open up to cherryblossom.

(It can take 7-10 days for eyes to open, though in clan time that'd be forever..! Assuming they are only a day or two old that is)

Cherryblossom nodded. "It's okay if you can't remember. I can guess how it was. They probably never let you outside, fed you nasty food, nasty water, and you didn't feel free. But I understand if you don't want to talk about it, that's completely fine with me." Cherryblossom assured Pantherstrike, her huge crush. Cherryblossom stepped toward the border and marked it, waiting for Pantherstrike to do the same.

scent was fresh. "with all these kittypets coming around,
it just makes me think of it again. the only thing i can
really remember is what they called me and the day i
escaped." he explained, sniffing around the border.
"they called me midnight." he said with an
amused chuckle.

Cherryblossom would hate to be called Midnight. She laughed. "So... the day you escaped... was it at midnight?" Cherryblossom asked, gently teasing the warrior with a friendly smile.

Cherryblossom remembered the mouse from earlier. "I should probably go dig that mouse back up. You want to head back to camp the way we came?" Cherryblossom asked Pantherstrike with a purr.
