he scented the air.

She stared at him and then blinked, noticing he asked a question. "I'm just in lov-..." she stopped herself. "Umm... I meant I'm fine. Want to take a walk?" Cherryblossom asked, quickly changing the subject. She smiled awkwardly at Pantherstrike.

Lightningstar heard a small voice inside his head. It was Eaglepaw. "I know you do... StarClan will have its ways." he whispered so that Rainfall and the other cats around him couldn't hear what he said.

"Not likely, a cat her age attacked by anything would likely be fatal. Something less serious like falling into a river and bumping your head, in younger cats it's known to cause some problems mentally. An incident more like that." It would be easy to approach Snowpaw and asked what she remembered before the clan, if the answer was nothing then it was likely suffered some injury.

She wakes suddenly, the nest empty and dark with bits of light streaming in from the openings. It was just a dream, it was just a silly dream... The white cat tells herself before sitting up and looking around. It was still quiet and empty, so no cats or twolegs got in here while she was sleeping.

Tawnystep ♂||Warrior||40 moons||→Swallowfall, Weavertail

"What happened? Cat got your tongue?" He chuckles, pushing Weavertail's shoulder with his paw and receiving a dirty look. "I'm well, thanks for asking. 'Good, how about you' is what my friend here meant to say." Picking up on what he said earlier, gaining some poisonous amusement from it.

She'd been training when Snowpaw joined the clan, she didn't remember much about it only that she was sent to the den for a good check up. The cat had not been to the cutters and still had claws which made her useful, but there was something else she didn't recall. "She never mentioned anything about her past or having siblings, perhaps something happened while she was on her own."

Cherryblossom came back with the mouse. She buried it by Pantherstrike. "Okay, should we go check the borders now? We really don't want any more troublesome kittypets lurking about on our territory." she chuckled. Ace and Kisa seemed nice, but she didn't even know their names yet or them in general.

He sighed. Rainstorm acted like he knew everything. He purred. "Thanks Eaglepaw, I wish you were here now." he whispered. Lightningstar searched for Kisa and Ace. He needed to tell them something very important.

the tom turned as he heard cherryblossom returning. he quickly
saw the mouse dangling from her jaws. "nice catch!" the
large tom purred, his tail flicking. "and yeah. it's strange how
all of the sudden, kittypets are infiltrating the clan." but
then again, that was me when i was a kit.. the tom thought.
it was odd to think that one of the clan's most loyal warriors came
from a twoleg den at one point. he started to walk and looked over
at cherryblossom. "did you know that i used to be a kittypet?"
he asked. it wasn't something a lot of clan cats remembered about
him.

"I do too.." he whimpered.

After finishing burrying her catch of the mouse, the warrior smiled towards Pantherstrike. "Thanks for the compliment." she meowed. As he asked if she remembered him being a kittypet, Cherryblossom tried hard to think back. She finally shook her head. "No, I actually don't remember you being a kittypet. What was it like?" she asked her crush without stuttering or staring at him awkwardly.

He felt darkness again and meowed exitedly. He started to suckle his mother's milk happily like when he used to be a kit.

He nodded. "We both wish you were here. But the past is in the past and we have to move on. Let's face it, you'll never be able to return into the Clan." he meowed sadly. Lightningstar missed Eaglepaw badly.
