Sitting on the fence, Julian was on guard watch, looking out into the feilds and seeing the horses he let loose for the while that they have graze, run around, and socialize. It was going to rain soon, so he was letting them do what they can while they're free so that they won't be so upset when they're in the stables. It was very early right now, about 5 in the morning. He knew his sister was laying down on the couch right now, just staring at the ceiling with those negative emotions flickering through her eyes; betrayl, loss, a broken heart, and pain. It hurt him that she thought their dad was a good man the whole time. However, it was hurting her more that he tried to kill her mom, the one who she thought that the man really loved. Sighing, Julian ran a hand through his hair. Now his mom disappeared, and probably dead too. So is his uncle too, probably. Julian and Juliet were the only ones out here, alone. The majority of their family from both sides were hunted and killed, now all they could do was protect eachother and run. An aching lonliness knawed at Julian's heart, and he looked up at the dark clouds that shrowded the sky. The both of them were at a fragile state right now, and hopefully the both of them can get over thier loss.
While Julian was outside, Juliet was inside, sitting down and staring at her palms. She wondered what she really was, and just why she was alive to live through all this mental torture. Everyone except for Julian and her were gone, and she felt like she was going to be alone for the rest of her life. Her mom used to always say how walks would clear her minds, especially when she was walking her Great Dane, Benji. That's how she met dad, that psychotic son of a bitch. Who knew a mind that twisted was her own father's? With a grunt of frustration, she stood up from the couch and walked into the kitchen, pouring herself a cup of coffee. She looked out of the window and saw her brother sitting there, looking just as alone as she was. When she looked around the house, her frown grew more down, it was so vacant now, so dark. Heeving a sigh, she poured the coffee into a more transportable bottle and put on a trench coat. For the first time in days, she was going to walk through the woods. Grabbing the bottle, she snuck out of the house and wore her worn out sneakers, jeans, and a turtle-neck, gray shirt with her leather, trench coat over it. As she walked past the stables and into the woods, she'd take sips of her coffee, enjoying it's bitter-sweet taste. On her index finger was her grandmother's ring from her father's side, the one dad proposed to her mom with. She found it on her great uncle's grave, and she took it as a message from her mom. However, it felt like a burden, a message of greif and suffering. She wanted to throw it in the river or give it to someone else.
