She sighs a bit, peeking her head out of the den at Lightningstar and Rainstorm. Judging by her mentor's face, the talk wasn't going well at all. "I swear, that fox-hearted know-it-all needs to grow some sympathy and get over it. Disrespecting a medicine cat, I never. Better not come crying to us when his throat is clawed open." She hisses under her breath, disbelieving of what she saw.

Settling down with his younger friend, the two shares a robin and watched the cats around them slowly start the day. What grabbed their attention most was the bickering between the leader and medicine cat, something that was almost never seen. "I don't know about you, but I'd never want to get on Rainstorm's bad side." He whispers to Weavertail, lowering his head.

Morning again, another day of mothering and another day of adventure for her little ones. Carefully stretching out what she could without bothering her young, she gingerly licks their foreheads with her borage scented breath. It seemed no matter how much prey she ate, the earthy scent never went away.

"Oh hello Gingerkit!" Snowpaw purred kindly. She had always loved younger cats, they always made her happy. " How are you doing today?" Snowpaw asked.

Ace sighed taking a small rabbit bite of the fresh kill and then turned away from it. He had lost his appetite right when he had gotten into the clan camp. Sighing Ace glanced longingly at the entrance. He wanted to leave this awful place but he would never leave without his sister. "Snowpaw" was Snow, Ace's littermate and his best friend.

Scanning camp briefly, his eyes fall a bit shyly upon Swallowfall before swiftly looking away. "Y-yeah, seems like there's a lot going on lately... Kittypets, arguments, r-relationships." Clearing his throat to get the word out, a bit skittish now about what he was doing with his life. It made him think about the future and if he was good enough to even deserve a nice she-cat like her.

With neither of them eating much, she decides to focus more on the problem. Keeping her attention on Ace, it was best to approach the subject tenderly and with sympathy though it wasn't her strong spot. "So Ace, mind telling me a bit about Snowpaw before she left? What she was like or how she acted?" He wouldn't go around accusing cats of being his siblings if he wasn't sure.

She watches Sandkit, who looked so much like her mother with a lovely calico pelt. All the fighting yesterday made her fearful her kits would walk out of this den into a dangerous world where no cat trusted the other. "You'll both grow so big and strong someday..." Her voice soft, shifting to expose her stomach a bit more for Sandkit.

Ace sighed turning to face Hushpad. He looked down toward the ground and closed his eyes. "Snow was always kind, she had a very kind heart. She was the one who lead the way away from the twolegs. Snow hated that simple life. She said that she wanted to explore, you know, live life happy. She always loved the forest. When wee got separated, I was torn. That day Snow said that she was going to try to hunt, it was the day we left the twolegs and we were hungry. She left me and never came back" Ace meowed softly.

He can feel himself tense up, not sure whether to speak or let Tawnystep do all the talking as the older tom. Clearing his throat again, yet avoid eye contact he manages a reply. "M-morning, Swallowfall." This cat wasn't used to feeling unsure of himself, but being able to hurt this cat's feelings again made his mind buzz.

"What happened? Cat got your tongue?" He chuckles, pushing Weavertail's shoulder with his paw and receiving a dirty look. "I'm well, thanks for asking. 'Good, how about you' is what my friend here meant to say." Picking up on what he said earlier, gaining some poisonous amusement from it.

She'd been training when Snowpaw joined the clan, she didn't remember much about it only that she was sent to the den for a good check up. The cat had not been to the cutters and still had claws which made her useful, but there was something else she didn't recall. "She never mentioned anything about her past or having siblings, perhaps something happened while she was on her own."
