"Bafers...?" Nightshade mewed back from around her fish looking down at Waningpaw before snickering and looking forward once more. Dang talking around a fish was a pain. She shakes her head slightly, not offering another comment. She wouldn't mind reassuring him a bit more if she hadn't been carrying a fish between her jaws. Yet, she couldn't help but notice as Waningpaw slowly edged closer to her, enough so that she could feel his white fur brush against her black occasionally. She looks down at the younger cat once more, stifling a purr, as she continues forward. She flicks her tall over his spine, offering a brief: "relaf Wawingpaw." Dang fish.

WaningPaw smiled at the odd replies. He shook himself a bit. He was supposed to be a brave apprentice, not a cowering kit. Besides, he had NightShade with him. "Thank you," he sighed, relaxing slightly. He purred softly, enjoying the feeling of Nightshade nearby him. He still jumped at every noise as they walked though. "You sure there are no badgers..." He muttered quietly, as if mentioning one might summon it. He was tired, and he thought he could see shadows moving in every bush and empty space. He realized how long a day it had been. "Are warriors always up for this long?"

Flintpaw

Flintpaw sniffed the air soon after. He scented Waningpaw and decided to look for him. He found Waningpaw walking with Nightshade and mewed, "I got attacked by a badger right now."
Flintpaw ran up and pointed to a scratch he got on his underbelly. He also had a claw mark on his shoulder and a bite on his tail. His ear had been torn off. "Look what it did to me." Flintpaw hissed.

Waning jumped at Flint's mew. "You scared me!" He accused, but froze once he realized that Flint was talking about a badger. Waning looked at the bloody wounds and hissed, fur on end. He looked towards camp, tensed as if to run, but moved closer to Raven, almost burying himself in her fur. "I-is it still here?" He asked, glancing behind them. It would suck if he got attacked by the same badger. "Were the stories correct?"

Flintpaw hissed, "Those badgers won't come back or they'll get a clawing!"
He padded to camp and sat down beside the Apprentices den, hoping no one would notice him.
