An Altine is a furry mammal native to colder climates. They range from the size of a wolf to the size of a tiger. Both males and females have manes, although the males' tend to be a bit larger and furrier. Altines are most recognisable by two features: thier masks and their tails. All Altines have a raccoon-like mask on their face; there has never been and will never be an Altine without a mask. Altines are also distinguished by their tails. They all have a thick tail with a mouth on the end. The mouth operates by use of a second brain, but cannot vocalise in any form. Occassionally, the tail-mouths have long fangs that secrete venom. This, however, is quite uncommon. For an unknown reason, the tail-mouths' tounges are always brightly coloured and forked.

Interesting Fact: Tap water is safer than any other type of water, and sometimes bottled water and tap water are the same thing. (Also tap water can potentionaly make you sick, but it's not likely. And not all tap water comes from the ground.)

Altine's Name: Ghoul; I feel as if maybe I should explain why I chose the name since it isn't super fancy like the other two. I chose Ghoul cause of the dark coloring of this specific Altine, it's mysterious and dark like a scary Ghoul. Also it's Ghost tail made me think about naming it Ghost, but I decided on Ghoul cause even though the tail is scary the word Ghoul reminds me of an anime called Tokyo Ghoul where everyone thinks this species (called Ghouls) are bad but they aren't and they are just trying to survive. So in short I chose the name Ghoul cause it's scary but also reminds me that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover cause this Altine looks so sweet :3 I hope that made sense XD
Interesting Fact: Most tap water contains fluoride, a salt compound that helps prevent cavities. (I think that's pretty cool. Nobody wants cavities, they hurt. At least i've heard that. I've never had any personally. Maybe it's because I drink tap :p )
