the support from cherryblossom, a clanmate he knew and trusted

Snowpaw flicked the tip of her tail anxiously. "Do you think Lightningstar will have your warrior ceremony right away? I bet you he was impressed with how you did on the assessment " Snowpaw meowed.

Ace looked around the camp. There were lots of cats around him, but one pelt looked very familiar. She was talking with another cat but it was her. Ace flicked his tail towards her and meowed quietly, " That's Snow..."

"H-hey! Don't leave me behind!" She calls, chasing after the clan cat now having second thoughts at almost being forgotten. What a shame it would be to find out they didn't care about each other when all her life she'd been tot to value a life over her own when it came to den mates. This would be a very harsh change indeed, not fully sure why she agreed to such thing.

The pewter blue and bronze she-cat gently turned her head at the sound of her name, spotting Juniperpaw coming over to join them. "Thank you, Juniperpaw." She gave a grateful purr as she sat down between her and Smokepaw. Wondering if Lightingstar would agree that she did well. But she couldn't worry about his decision now. Then hearing Smokepaw's comment about being a warrior in no time, she dipped her head out of gratitude. "Thank you, Smokepaw." She said almost started to get embarrassed by all this praise and kind words. She was just doing the best to serve her clan. "I do appreciate it."

"Hi, Juniperpaw." Dreampaw meowed in greeting as she joined them in their conversation. Happy that now if needed someone could keep Falconpaw from pouncing on Smokepaw, as her sister was starting to get suspicious of them. Though she could tell by the look she had spotted on her sister's face with her right eye. Though she had a smile on her face anyways as she couldn't help wondering what Juniperpaw had been up to. "Well, since we know how Falconpaw's assessment went. How was your day, Juniperpaw?"

"Maybe, as if he agrees that we did well, we will have to do the silent vigil tonight." Blizzardpaw meowed knowing of the vigil from his mentor. It was a tradition after warriors on the day that they had gotten their warrior name that they would do a silent vigil through the night, guarding the camp. Though with no one around to attack, besides some kitty pets and a few loners along with rouges. It seemed more like a tradition to him.

"Well, I don't know what Lightingstar actually thinks. Though honest I hope your right, and he was impressed by it." He said somewhat calmly, while underneath his pelt he was still nervous about it. As Lightingstar did have the final say on the matter.

"Well this is me being completely honest here. I've seen you training, you and Falconpaw are excellent. I believe you are ready" Snowpaw meowed seriously.

he smiled towards cherryblossom again, then turned and
followed her gaze. he saw the leader enter with two more
kittypets, and grew uneasy. "wait- where's eaglepaw?"
pantherstrike said, growing alarmed.

juniperpaw
the fluffy she-cat shrugged her shoulders. "you know, it
was a bit boring. but, i got to know sunpaw a bit." she said
to the other apprentices. "i think he'll be a good edition to
the clan, honestly. what about you, dreampaw? what were you
up to today?" juniperpaw questioned softly, with a sly glance
towards smokepaw.

smokepaw stayed quiet, listening to the conversation roll on. he
saw the look his sister gave him and felt his fur burning with
embarrassment.

Cherryblossom gasped as she saw the two Clan cats bring in Eaglepaw's dead body. His pelt was soaking wet and he looked weak. "What do you think happened?" Cherryblossom asked Pantherstrike.

He shook his head. "Snowpaw's your sister?" He asked, quite shocked. "Ace, you should really go talk to her. I'll come with you if you want." he offered with sympathy.
