Sunflower kept an eye on her kits, Emberkit and Chancekit playing, Turtlekit watching, Mudkit playing, but Maplekit still hadn't opened her eyes.. Wasn't walking, She wasn't asleep but hadn't stood, "Maple dear" The young mother cooed, when no reply came she quickly wandered over to Vixenpool "Please keep an eye on my kits for me" She said hurriedly before scooping up Maplekit and rushing to the med den, She called for the med cats and her mate

Emberkit watched her mother leave "Wanna follow?" She whispered to her brother

"I just told someone I like them" Mothtalon groaned

Spottedpaw perked her ears. "What's happened?" She addressed sunflower.

Orcacry glanced over at mothtalon. "It gets easier."

"Maplekit.. Shes not reacting to any touch or movement, shes not opened her eyes or stood or even made the smallest sound" The mother explained close to tears

"Seriously? Even if they will never talk to me again?" Mothtalon said annoyed "Me and my big mouth"

Maple padded out of the den as the sun peaked, and dawn had come. She was waiting to have something to do. She sat by the camp exit in boredom.

Spottedpaw quickly patted the kit over. She sighed hastily, and sadly looked at the mother. "I'm sorry.. I .. it's a case of a kit born weak, a runt, perhaps. She's in starclans paws.."

"No... Shes larger then her brother and her brother is fine! Sort of.. Hes taking longer to adjust but.. There has to be something you can do?" Sunflower said starting to hyperventilate

Mothtalon shook his head "If I need one I don't think its gonna be her"
