He sighed. Why was a kittypet drowing in the death river on their territory? He growled. Lightningstar ran towards the water. Even if it was a kittypet, he wouldn't let her drown. "Need help?" he asked with narrowed eyes, quite angry.

talking about. "oh - that would be a mouse." he
said, nodding. as the group continued to move, the river
became visible.

it'd be cool to start training with someone besides my sister
for once!" smokepaw said, excitment building in his

She watched Ace take a drink and decided to try it as well, leaning forward, her paws slipped on the mud of the bank, scrambling with her claws, she felt herself slide forward and plummet in into the water with a icy splash, a yowl of surprise, and a tinkle of her bell's ring before she went under.

"What do you smell?"she asked, sniffing deeply through the air, but all that was scented was the forest-like smells. "I smell..blood? Near the river?" she asked, quickly scenting other cats.

Ace watched in shock as the wild cat saved the kittypet. He sat on the shore, knowing Kisa would be safe and tried to hide a smile. This was the wrong time to smile but it was a bit funny to see Kisa afraid of wild cats and now saved by one. Ace shook his pelt, trying to shake off the thought, for this was not the time.

Lightningstar opened his eyes in shock. She was the most beautiful cat he had ever seen. "Okay, coming in!" he warned, sending water towards her as he jumped in. He grabbed her gently by the scruff and made sure not to let go this time. Lightningstar brought her back to the surface and put her on land. then he accidentally fell back into the water and died. Mwhahaha.

With Cherryblossom more or less dismissing them, the tom takes off for his own hunting trip. The forest was crisp with the scents of bird and crushed leaves, granted the moss and grass was present as well. The first fresh scent he picked up was rabbit, a hearty catch that would feed two cats easily. Fallowing the trail, this cooked-tailed tom began to feel like a real wild cat again.

"I still think I may have to step down to allow the cat to take my place, he'd make a good medicine hunter." She comments, picking the chamomile flowers halfway down the stem, checking one herb off her list. Though they didn't often use chamomile, it would be good if any cats came back and needed to recover from shock. "He'd be able to smell catmint a ways upstream."
