uh, hon, hate to be the bearer of bad news or anything, but not everyone's art turns out the same ^^;
sure, someone may have had a similar style to your current one, but that doesn't necessarily mean your art will look the same as theirs.
just keep trying around with different styles! yours will eventually form. patience is key, tho ;v;
and personally, I think your style is really cute as it is <3
