Falconpaw couldn't help but agree with Icepaw's statement. She wanted to explore, see what was really out there. Ither than the dangers all the cats talk about. "Yeah, but they are here to protect us. But right now, I'm sure both of our tails would get shredded. We don't know what's out there that we need to defend ourselves from." came the ginger and black she-cats reply. Her golden eyes went from the landscape, to the other apprentice.

Spottedtail had sented the mouse and nodded. The tan and black tom crouched down, shifting his weight into his haunches. As he stepped forward his hind paws stayed quiet ans he slipped through the undergrowth. With quick reflexes, he pounced on the mouse. A bit to the neck ending the mouses life.

"Nice catch," Said Huronspark flatly. It wasn't that she thought Spottedtail's catch was bad, she just didn't feel like punctuating it. Huronspark decided to return to the river, wanting to work on her fishing skills to make up for her last horrible catch. She went over to the stream and sat down. I haven't been too friendly to Spottedtail, have I? She thought, hearing the tom rustle in the undergrowth behind her. "Care to join me?" She said in a crisp and cold tone, her pale olive eyes still facing the opposite way of the tom. She knew that she didn't come off as friendly, but coming off as desperate or annoying would be worse.

Duskflight's ears pricked as she heard Icepaw's statement, but instead of reprimanding the young tom, she opted that it would be better to ignore him, instead. She padded to the southern border, giving it a quick sniff and checking it over, wanting to make sure no one had crossed.

Reedpelt snorted in disgust as he heard the apprentices' chatter. "Don't be stupid," he said gruffly, feeling a strong urge to cuff Icepaw over the ears. "You wouldn't make it three sunrises without warriors around to keep you out of trouble," he pointed out, his words directed mostly to the young tom.

Featherpaw, who had been settled in her nest, carefully grooming at her paw and throwing it over her muzzle to smooth out any stray hairs, she lifted her head to see Stormpaw, and purred in reply, "Good morning, Stormpaw. What's up?"

Stormpaw stretched, flexing his claws. "Ah, nothing much. What have you been doing today?" He asked, sitting in his nest, licking a paw and running it down his face to clean some dirt off of it.
