Is there a hoard that you've ever regretted giving up on or trading off? Would you ever consider starting it up again, or are you currently trying to restart?
Not really.. there was the one hoard that had over 80 dogs in it and i just gave away for free <_< but atleast it was to another hoarder. Any hoards that i do trade off i tend not to like anymore or im cutting down on the group to hit a lower goal (so i cant finish it faster - because if i have a hoard running for over 2 years and it still hasnt hit the goal then its more stress to finish it than id like so i end up reducing the number)

My Scarecrow-hoard, actually.
The three Scarecrow-dogs from Halloween 2011.
I used to hoard them because they look so much alike to my biggest dreamie, the Patchwork (which I achieved ♥)
But they were a pain to get, I only wanted 50 of both Commons and 25 of the Uncommon one, but after like one or two years I still only had a few of each (I think about 25 - 30 of all of them together) and therefore I decided to stop hoarding them.
I actually would love to start the hoard again, maybe I will as soon as I finished my other two hoards.

I remember I had 7? 8? hoards that had a goal of 700 each. I believe I finished all but 1 or 2 and it took about 3 years ;A;
I ended up trading/gifting them all off, and I don't regret it but it was still kind of sad watching 3 years of work go like that.

Yes, there is XD i traded a good portion of my Red X hoard to Pideaux, helping her out with her hoard. I've kinda always regretted it, even though i've gotten some back now xD

so honestly, hoards are hard.
choosing the right pet which is:
- a low enough rarity so people will be willing to give it up
- in low demand, so no overpay
- not a lot of people are hoarding.
the struggle is too real ;w;
planning on starting a hoard soon, but questioning which pet to choose.

I dont look at any of those things lol i hoard that what i like. Sure, some are hard to get, some arent. But chosing a pet purely on it being easy, wheres the effort and fun in that?

I agree. I mean, I understand the frustration in hoarding rarer or more in-demand pets, but if I want a hoard badly enough, I don't let those kinds of things stop me. But I guess everyone has a different system

I agree with DaDwarf. I'm hoarding (or rather, attempting to hoard) Grinners, Cerberus, and Shima Longtails. I don't have very many, but I love them and want more!
