I don't think you should take pride in taking a life, because when you get down to the basics that's what you're doing.

I don't think a hunter's pride is so much pride in the actual killing as it is pride in the hard work it takes and the end result of a pelt/mount/food/etc.

Canned hunting is a whole 'nother ball game. A lot of hunters don't even support it. It takes away from the challenge and doesn't give the animal a fair chance (something I think is very important).

Whether or not it's canned hunting I don't think hunters should take pride in the hunt, whether it's in the actual killing or the tracking and hard work, or having a 'trophy' afterwards, I believe hunting should only be a necessity rather than a sport that you take enjoyment in.

Why can't it be both? Why force people to pretend to not enjoy something enjoyable? If it HAS to be done, why not enjoy it in the process?

Im with PeachFuzz why cant a hunter enjoy the hours of hard work he has put in to something, its like saying an artist or write cant enjoy there work.

Your basically asking people pretend they don't enjoy an activity. That would be like you asking a gamer to not take pride in getting highest rating on a competitive server its a moot point to tell people to stop enjoying or taking pride in things so why ask them not too they got a right to be proud and happy too you know i agree with peachfuzz on this.

Hey, Leafy here. I'm just gonna pop in here and say this:

While I agree with a lot of what both sides are saying, I think we're forgetting the topic here: Wolves.

I'm not sure how you guys got on the topic of hunting, but while we're on it, let me just say that wolves ARE endangered. They should not be hunted for any reason except in an extreme circumstance.

Hello!! I just saw this and totally agree that wolves are the most AMAZING creatures ever!! They are ever so graceful and majestic, it is wrong to hunt them for their beautiful fur. To those who dislike wolves and support hunting them, I shake my head. Those who disagree, you rock!! Sorry if you found this offensive, it's just that I love wolves!
