Also, i am still kinda a newb at pokemon but, how do you get through the final gym? (Wallace's gym)
Is there something you need to do before? Cause the stairs wont appear after the first set of glass.
In Alpha sapphire to be specific.

Did you get Kyogre? Because if so you have to crack all the ice when you walk on it, without stepping on a cracked icetile twice (or else you fall through). It's like a puzzle :> Once you step on all icetiles in one area it'll unlock the stairs for you. You can look up on youtube on how to solve the puzzles^^

Gah I jinxed myself. I JUST started breeding growlithe so the parents Ivs are bad. I noticed the male was jap so I thought "man I hope I don't hatch a shiny this early". Guess what happened? masuda why you troll me?

Ah well my boyfriend will probably love to have him since growlithe is his favorite. I already gave him one a year ago but now he'll have a evolution set.

... Are you really complaining about getting a Masuda shiny early? I had to hatch 600 - 800 eggs for my Riolu. I'd take the bad IVs and run. :P

No I'm complaining about my luck. When I try to hatch shinies on purpose it takes 500+ but when I don't want a shiny it takes 5. XD

I'd keep it if my boyfriend didn't love growlithe.

It is and I am happy about it. I didn't mean to come off as ungrateful. I was just a bit frustrated since I have quite a few failed MM attempts. XD

Maybe you can try your luck with another method?

In Gates to Infinity, an item called "Heart of the Sun" appeared as a prize in my Beartic Slide, but I couldn't get it. I searched it on Bulbapedia but didn't get anything. Does anyone know what it does?
(Also, how do Pokémon that evolve by happiness evolve in GTI?)
