"Where do you think we should hunt?" I asked, trying to be constructive. "You should take into considerstion when a patrol last hunted there, what kind of prey is there, and the season."

Silentpaw looked at Violetblaze, feeling honored that he got the privilege to choose. "How about the stream?" he suggested.

"Good job!" I purred brightly. That had been exactly where I would have gone. "Okay, let's go."

Silentpaw smiled. "You can lead." the apprentice offered Violetblaze.

I started towards the stream. When I got there, I looked up and down. I settled on a spot a little upstream.

He settled down beside Violetblaze and waited patiently for a fish to come by.

I swiped a paw at a fish and tugged it out of the water, frowning when I saw it. It would barely feed an apprentice.

He purred. "Nice catch, Violetblaze." he congratulated. Silentpaw tried to catch the next fish that swam by but instead fell in the water. "Help! Help!" he called.

His gaze softened as he saw Rivermist and Wolfclaw's together, he wished one day he would have a mate as well. But he's a munckin cat.
