"I'm tired, momma." Distant Star murmured sleepily into her mother's still-short mane, having been riding on Aquila's back for the last leg of the journey.

"I told you you'd tire yourself out, Dista." The batpony sighed softly. "We're there, though, so don't worry."

"Really?" The little unicorn lifted her head slightly, happy despite being partially asleep.

"Mmhm."

Skye arrived in an area called Sirius, according to the data from her visor, there was supposed to be some sort of festival. She looked around the town and spotted what appeared to be a lodge of sorts, she warily approached the establishment, folding her large wings and sighing in relief from the long flight that brought a fiery ache upon her wings.

"I can... walk now, if you want." Dista murmured then, despite the fact her eyes were already closed once more.

"It's fine, little one." Aquila said softly, spotting a place they could stay the night. "You'll be able to actually lay down in just a minute." Aquila may have been built to be practically nocturnal, but Dista had taken more after her father than her, and was a child still as well. The batpony immediately headed towards the lodge, carrying the filly.
