The tom flicked his tail in a certain amount of interest but otherwise didn't ay anything else about it. His mind went to how relying on other senses or moves would be different. Take grumpy old Venomfang for instance. He couldn't use claws- specifically because didn't have any to use. So instead, the older tom used his teeth of all things. Emberpaw couldn't begin to imagine what would happen if he lost the use of his claws or eyes. This Icepaw fellow was pretty cool all thongs considered. He didn't really hang out with the other apprentices much. Well, except for Snowpaw. The orange tom fluffed out his fur when a breeze ruffled through it and he hopped along after Icepaw, head in the clouds. "Well I think it's pretty cool that you can get around without your eyes. Not that I'd like to try, probably walk right into the jaws of a gator. Still though..." the apprentice closed his eyes and tried to maneuver through the undergrowth, only to find that he tripped over himself more than once, "Yup, not gonna happen."

Icepaw

The tom chuckled,"I guess I'm so used to it I don't even think about what I'm missing out>"He said,referring to the view around him as he sat down and sighed.He never hung out with other cats because they always acted awkward around him.And he hated that.

Gatorfoot's ears flicked back briefly before returning to their normal position. "Is, uh somethin' still botherin' ya?" He reached a paw toward another leaf, aiming to bat it towards her but stopped as a roly poly crawled out from underneath it. He patted it with his paw an it rolled up into a ball.

"Come on Brightpaw! Let's go patrol the borders real quick." Sparrowclaw called, bounding towards the edge of the clearing. "I don't think anyone's gotten to them this morning yet."

The silver she-cat tilted her head in a subtle air of amusement as she watched Fawnstep bound and leap through the trees expertly. It had been a long time since she'd climbed trees and it brought back memories of her and her brother when he was still around. The thought left her hollow for a few moments until she snapped out of her daydream and eagerly clambered after the other. Surprisingly, Silvertail felt herself weave through the branches quickly and expertly leaving the ground far below her as she went. Her gaze however never left Fawnstep's figure as she needed that to guide her to the nest. "This is amazing!" Silvertail let out a small mrrow of laughter as the branches ran through her pelt and she felt the adrenaline course through her vains like a river. "I'd nearly forgotten what it feels like to be up here!"

"Whatever," the apprentice yawned expectantly since overlasting conversations bored him quickly. Don't get him wrong, he could talk all day if he wanted to but never about the same subject. With a flick of his tail, he hopped and crouched through the bushes lazily, as if trying to make something so mundane actually fun. The thick layer of muscle he'd worked up was itching for a chance to be used and turned to Icepaw, stopping in the apprentice's so suddenly that they bonked heads. It could hardly have been avoided. "Oi, you wanna spar or something? Practice our fighting moves? It's not like you have anything better to do."

When she reached the medicine cat den, Spottedkit coughed and asked "Is anyone there? Hello?" while peeking her head in. She sat down in the entrance, what was left of her tail twitching in nervousness. Why would I be sick? How do you get sick? she asked herself, unsure what was going on completely.

Fawnstep felt herself relax considerably as Silvertail voiced her own excitement from behind her. "I guess we get so caught up in doing our jobs," The she-cat paused, looking over her shoulder to make sure that Silvertail had made the last jump alright, it was a little broad, "...that we forget to enjoy the little things sometimes." Fawnstep pulled herself up onto one more branch and stepped aside to make room for the silver tabby. "It's right in between those two branches above us, see it?"
