Her head lifts lazily at a voice, noticing yet another kit was looking to get killed today or at least get lose. Sighing heavily, the cat exits the broken window and faces it's direction. "I'd be careful if I were you, someone might answer..." One after the other she'd end up being the only cat on the block easy.

The black and orange she cat shook her head. "I cant imagine any cat but Lightningstar being leader." she thought about it and wondered how the Clan would change if Petalstep became leader. "Not even Petalstep." she added. It was true, Cherryblossom couldnt possibly imagine Petalstep being leader. She was used to Petalstep being the deputy and the thought made her uneasy.

"hey I'm right here." Petalstep joked and nodded, "Im honestly surprise lightingstar picked me to be deputy. I'm not cut out for it."

"Like I said earlier, you'll grow into it with age and just like an apprentice you'll learn all the tricks. Just gotta ask him questions once in a while if he does something you are unsure of." He wouldn't go as far as calling the comment rude, out loud; but it felt a bit uncalled for. Everyone died, it was a fact of life and Lightningstar would one day be replaced.

I walked around and found an old twoleg place. I curled up in the smashed remains. I looked into a puddle of water nearby, and I saw things, not reflections, I saw real things. It was as if I could touch it, I saw a tree, with leaves falling off it, and cats, welcoming me warmly.

Cherryblossom dipped her head to Petalstep. "I am sorry, but I just truly cannot imagine you as leader. Im not used to it." she admitted, although it was obvious. "Should we watch Falconpaw and Blizzardpaw hunt now?" Cherryblossom asked. Falconpaw was more then ready to become a warrior. He was fourteen moons.

Petalstep nodded, "yes." She chuckled, "okay should we start with hunting in the streams? Lets see if they know how to catch fish."
