The year is 2440 and the world is dying out. Food is scarce, shelter is hard to come by, and deaths are plentiful. Most the human population is extinct along with many others. Most cities are destroyed but there's one species that seems to be going strong. Dogs. Weather it's their keen sense of smell that allows them to scavenge for food or something else entirely, dogs can be found wandering around whats left of earth. In the city of Chevane, although the houses are deserted, there is still life. Stray dog unite together to make their life just a little less unbearable. Having someone to watch over your back just might save your life. Although you wont run across them often, there are still humans here. You may want to watch out for them though, they'll eat anything edible and a dog might be too good to pass up.
This is a remake of this thread, which I sadly let die.

As of 6/17/2015

We are starting right after a massive flood, which was caused by an old dam breaking. Allot of the pack dogs have been separated, and some have died. The food has all been displaced, and much of the city is still flooded.

Personality: Being raised as a fighter, one might suspect Kiba to be a cruel, heartless dog but he's quite the opposite. He regrets every fight he was forced to be in. Despite his appearance as a pit bull, he does not have the stereotypical personality as one. He's really quite the opposite. He's sweet and kind-hearted and just an over-all good guy if you give him the chance. He'll try to help those in need but knows when he shouldn't push it; if you don't want to be around him, he'll leave you alone without a second glance. To those he loves, he'll do anything for and will protect them with his life. If you threaten someone he holds dear, don't be surprised if you encounter his fighting side. Although he does not enjoy hunting others, if you seriously piss him off, which is quite hard to do, you'll be seriously disfigured by the time he's done with you. He'll take a leading role in most things but he does give others a chance to voice their input.

Personality: When you first meet Briar, she may seem like she shy, distant type but she's really not. Although she may not talk very much, it's just because she prefers not to. She chose to be a loner for a reason, but she will speak her mind hen she thinks it's necessary. She's a very curious fae that's interested in anything she's not already familiar with. But that can get her in trouble sometimes; she just cant keep her head out of things. She has a brilliant mind that can quickly get her out of tricky situations and is very observant. Growing up like she did has caused her to become an independent dog and she will hardly ask for help, afraid to be labeled weak. And from experience she has learned the weak don't make it very far in this life. She gets annoyed easily and is known to be occasionally snappy but most the times simply keeps to herself. It's hard for her to trust new people but if you get on her good side, she can be very sweet and loyal.

The smallest of things confuse him since he did not have anybody to grow up with, and will constantly ask questions.

Personality
Due to her puppyhood, Destry grew up to be a very unique individual. She is welcoming yet protective, brave but cautious, social but also independent. This dog has a strong sense of character and can tell almost instantly if you are truly good or if you mean harm. Her highly intelligent mind is in perfect balance with her extreme athletic ability and muscular body. Upon meeting her, you will notice that she is weary and cautious around strangers. However, if she sees you as no harm and as a kind soul, she will be extremely caring, help you or even take you under her wing. Along with that, Destry has all the qualities of a good leader. She is also extremely loyal. No one will get away with hurting, threatening or separating her from the ones she cares about. That means absolutely no one. This mix dog is not keen on fighting- or revenge for that matter. Though, if you threaten of hurt anyone she's cares about, you will regret it. Destry will probably not kill you or injure you enough so you're good as day. Instead she will make you regret it with every thought and every breathe you take. Speaking of opposites, some might say that this dog is one of the kindest you will ever meet. Destry never turns down anyone who is injured or helpless. This young adult dog will do whatever it takes to heal whoever is in need. Despite if they have hurt her in the past.
