Okay. Decision time.

As I'm sure you've all noticed, this is going reeeeeeaaaaaally slowly. Not many people are participating, so it's not exactly speeding along like I'd thought it would. Which wouldn't be a huge problem if I didn't have some really busy weeks ahead of me.
For the next few weeks (undetermined amount of time) I'm going to be out of town visiting some family. I won't have time to keep up with this event, even with the slow pace it's currently at. So we have a couple options.

1. Postpone the event until after I get back.

Pros: All the hard work I spent on the artwork, writing, and general set-up can still be enjoyed to its full extent, and for those of you that enjoy searching for the objects will still be able to do that.

Cons: It'll still probably go super slowly, considering the lack of interest in this event, and it may be quite some time before I'm back and have enough time and energy to spend on this again.

2. Skip all the object-searching and just release all the event THs now.

Pros: It won't take half of forever to do everything and I'll still put up the rest of the story and the art that goes with it for y'all. And the top four (or, rather, only four) object collectors will still get their free THs.

Cons: I won't be able to judge the THs until I get back, because family stuff begins tomorrow (though this could also be viewed as a good thing because you'll have plenty of time to finish your forms and whatnot).

If it were up to me, I'd choose #2. It'd be a lot less stressful for me, and it wouldn't take up as much of everybody's time. But if you would prefer to postpone the event, I'm willing to do that for you.

So. Everyone, please let me know what you want. If you have another idea you think might work better, please let me know. Share your thoughts, concerns, etc. And please post it all here, for everyone to discuss.

I enjoy the searching but I am happy to do whatever makes your life less stressful *hug*
If you'd rather release and judge later, I'm totally cool with that

I've decided that I will only concentrate on one TH per litter anyway, so that I can put maximum effort into winning the one I love, so I'm fine either way

I'm a little disappointed that only four of us have chosen to participate, but at least the prizes will be equally divided amongst those of us who made the effort

I'm going to go with option 2. It sounds a lot simpler and I think a lot of people were more bothered about the horses rather than anything else which is kind of a shame

Option 2 definitely sounds like the best thing to do, sadly. I'm very sad that only a few people chose to participate in finding the objects that would move this event along, but I suppose as long as it all works out in the end and these babes get adopted I can't complain.
