owlfire leapt to her feet as the ceremony came to a halt,
excited as she glanced around for a sign of pantherstrike.
she was practically bursting with pride for her kit-hood
friend, and almost tripped over her paws as she bounded
towards the large tom. "pantherstrike! your first
apprentice, you lucky cat." the she-cat purred, flicking
her tail at his shoulder. with a warm smile, she glanced at
the newly named sunpaw, a bit taken aback to see the young
apprentice was blind. regaining her composure, the warrior
bent to touch her nose against his shoulder, "welcome to
Cloudclan, sunpaw. i'm owlfire, it's a pleasure to meet you."

a smile spread across the large tom's maw as owlfire
approached. he purred softly and nodded towards the she-cat.
the tom's ears flattened back. oh yeah. sunpaw
knew nothing about clans. this would be a
long day. ok, um. first i'm going to explain
to you the ranks of the clan. then i'll give you
a camp tour. alright?" he swiped his fluffy
tail over sunpaw's back, standing in the shade
of the trees. "we start with the leader,
lightningstar, who you have met. the leader of
the clan gets 9 lives, granted by starclan. starclan
is the clan of our ancestors, in the skies. they guide
cloudclan. next is the deputy. the deputy of cloudlan
is petalstep. she will become the leader someday, when
lightningstar has passed and gone to starclan. when
that happens, she will be granted nine lives and be called
petalstar. following all of this so far?"
he glanced at owlfire. he didn't know if he was doing a
good job at explaining this to sunpaw.

he thought for a small moment. "the deputy is a warrior
who has proven that they are loyal and devoted to the clan,
who exceeds expectations and will be a good leader someday.
to be deputy, the cat also has to have been the mentor to at
least one cat." pantherstrike explained.

still siting beside her brother, juniperpaw watched the 3 cats
from a distance, very curious and excited to meet sunpaw.

Cherryblossom nodded and followed after Falconpaw, Blizzardpaw, Weavertail, Mothheart, and Petalstep. She smiled as she stepped out of camp. This would probably be the last time Falconpaw and Blizzardpaw step out of camp as apprentices. She remembered her first time and sighed at the wonderful memory of being an apprentice.

The she-cat smiled as she joined in the chanting of Sunpaw's name. Wanting to welcome the apprentice into the clan as best she could. Though she wondered how the apprentices would welcome Sunpaw in, as she hoped Juniperpaw would be nice to the new apprentice. Though she also knew she should take Juniperpaw out hunting at the least.

The tom as well, joined in on the chanting of Sunpaw's name. Though he still had his own doubts, about a kitty pet joining the clan. As Blizzardpaw was a kitty pet as well and he wasn't excited for his coming into the clan. Though he wasn't Lightingstar so he couldn't say who could and couldn't join the clan. Though maybe this cat, Sunpaw, would prove himself useful to the clan.

The tom chanted Sunpaw's name along with the others in the clan. Knowing that Pantherstrike would be a good mentor, and teach him well. Though he couldn't help wondering what would happen to Sunpaw, as he'd have to get use to clan life. Just like Blizzardpaw, who had joined the clan only a few moons ago. Though he wondered if he should go out hunting to make sure the queen, the elder, along with the medicine cat's were fed.

A smile appeared on her face as she chanted Sunpaw's name as well. Her ivory furred tail shifted around her, knowing fully well that Pantherstrike would be a good mentor to Sunpaw. Though she could guess that their training would start tomorrow, as Sunpaw did seem somewhat tired. Though she wondered to herself that she should head out hunting to hopefully get some some more fresh kill for the clan.

The tom was surprised after chanting the new apprentice's name to hear that he along with Falconpaw would be having their warrior assessment today. He couldn't help being excited about that, they'd be warriors if they passed their assessment. Along with the prey out there should be running for their holes with himself and Falconpaw out there. "Ready as I can be." He said as Cherryblossom had come up towards them. Though his voice didn't hide his excitement at all.

The orange red tom was happy for the new apprentice, Sunpaw to be joining them. Though for the next part he was excited along with somewhat sad when the new of Falconpaw's and Blizzardpaw's assessment was announced. As they would be leaving the apprentice den and move on to the warrior den. Though he eagerly hoped that they would pass their assessments, as he'd still see them around camp.


☆Falconpaw and Dreampaw☆
Falconpaw ear's perked up after chanting Sunpaw's name as she heard that she and Blizzardpaw would be having their warrior assessment. Her eyes did light up, her warrior assessment, she was ready for it. Though she looked over at Dreampaw for the time being, as she would be leaving her sister in the apprentice den. "Dreampaw, I'll see you later." She said as she got up from her sitting position and watching as Cherryblossom was coming over in their direction.

"Alright, good luck on your assessment." Dreampaw said as she got up and padded over towards the apprentice den leaving her sister there.

"I'm ready." Falconpaw said hearing Cherryblossom asking if they were ready to go.

The she-cat elder listened to the meeting, so this new cat was Sunpaw, she was interested in the fact. Having lost her sight earlier in life, though she would have to remember to congratulate Pantherstrike if he stopped by the elder den. Though she stayed at the entrance of the elder's den after hearing of two apprentice's going to take their assessments that day as well. She smiled to herself remembering her warrior assessment, like it was yesterday.

The queen listened as this new apprentice was a new addition to the clan. She couldn't help wondering if her kits would learn to be friends with this new apprentice, Sunpaw. Though she did hope that one day her kits would have good mentors when they were of age. With the meeting over, she headed back into the nursery to see if her kits were still asleep, which they were. She breathed a soft sight of relief as when they were awake they were little reckless little kits.
