Sunpaw felt the movement of a tom. He padded closer to the tom and pressed his face against his pelt. It was easier to remember his scent and nuzzled the tom, "What are you gonna teach me ?" He asked happily.

Snowpaw listened to the ceremony, curious about this new cat that was joining the clan. Snowpaw decided that she would congratulate the tom later, after he talked to his new mentor.

juniperpaw looked around at the clan. she could
see unsure looks on many faces, and her ears flattened
back for a moment. "sunpaw! sunpaw!" she chanted
the new apprentice's name. she looked forwards to getting
to know the blind tom-cat, and hoped that the rest of the
clan would accept the former kittypet despite the disability.

the quiet apprentice cheered sunpaw's name with his sister,
although less loudly. he felt slightly uncomfortable looking
around at the reactions.


pantherstrike - tom - warrior
the large black tom let out a purr of amusement. sunpaw
didn't seem to know that anything was different about him, and
it made pantherstrike respect the younger tom. "everything
i can." he replied, briefly touching noses with the apprentice.
he tried to sound confident, as confident as he could.

He chanted the new Clan mates name. "Sunpaw! Sunpaw!" Lightningstar wondered what the Clan thought about welcoming a kittypet that was blind into the Clan. Did he make a good decision?

Cherryblossom glared at Sunpaw. It was not a very wise decision on welcoming a blind cat into the Clan. She shrugged and chanted his new name. "Sunpaw! Sunpaw!"

Petalstep purred. With permission from the leader she lashed her tail and dismissed the clan. She jumped down the high rocks and twitched her nose. The kittypet filled her nose with the scent if dog. She walked to pantherstrike and whispered to him, "Before you start working with him you should try to get rid of the dog scent." She told him and padded off

Sunpaw smiled and jumped down the high rocks. He sat down and flicked her tail slowly as he waited for his mentor.

the warrior leaped down high rock, following his
apprentice. thoughts swirled in his mind. he was
genuinely worried about training sunpaw. maybe
i'm not the best cat for this job... he thought to
himself. hearing petalstep, he nodded, not quite sure
if she was kidding or not. but, the scent of dog would
definitely be a safety hazard for the clan. "alright,
sunpaw. i say we start with a territory tour. tomorrow
morning. i'm guessing you've had a long day, so try
spending today meeting everyone, and training begins
at dawn." the tom began. "oh, and.. i'm going to
see if the medicine cats have anything strong scented to
mask your canine odor. if not, i guess mud will work."

Rainstorm stretched after the ceremony. He flicked his tail a little. "Hushpad, can you tell me what we're low on so I can get collecting?" he asked his apprentice as he approached her.

Ace took a deep breath in and noticed the smell of a kittypet close by. Curiously, Ace went to see where the scent was coming from and he saw a white she-cat with pale ginger hints in her fur. Deciding Ace wanted to be friendly he came out from behind a bush and meowed "Hello"

Kisa, scared out of her fur, turned around, fluffed up. Her fear scent was strong. Eyeing the cat wearily, she spoke. H-Hello," she said. "Who are you?"

Giving up on spending a calming day outside, she claws her way up the abandon twoleg den and back through the window. The roof hadn't fallen in again which meant this got to be her home another day, empty as it was. Most of the windows were broken out and the front entrance was tilted off the main wall but she tried not to think less of the place. It could rain and storm out there and stay dry and a bit warmer in here.

The glory would be short lived in his mind, so once it was done with he focused back to hunting. They'd been stopped in their tracks by this kit, he hadn't even had time to check the twoleg border for more mangy kittypets looking for trouble. Glancing around camp, there were plenty of cats now doing nothing that could patrol.

Hushpad ♀||Med. Cat Apprentice||16 moons||→Rainstorm

The way Sunpaw interacted with Patherstrike gave away hints he wasn't completely normal. Though his head faced upward and ears were forward, his gaze was like staring off at the stars. It had not real focus, but she didn't say anything out loud. No point in accusing the kit of being worthless yet, he might just take her job some day... "Poppy seeds as usual, it wouldn't hurt to get some Chamomile and Chickweed while we're at it."

He looked at his Clanmates. "The Clan meeting is not over yet... it is time for two older apprentices to have their warrior asessment. Falconpaw and Blizzardpaw!" he called out. "Their mentors Petalstep and Mothheart will asess them as well as Cherryblossom and Weavertail." Lightningstar stated. "The Clan meeting is now officially over." he declared as he jumped off high rock.

Cherryblossom was shocked that she had the honor of asessing apprentices that were not her own. She padded over to Weavertail, Mothheart, Petalstep, Falconpaw, and Blizzardpaw. "Are you guys ready to go?" she asked.

With the whole bad omen put behind him, the tom tried to return to his more happy, kit like personality. "Ready as I'll ever be." Aware Falconpaw and Blizzardpaw could easily handle themselves with hunting and fighting, so the patrol was fairly strong. Prey should be quaking with fear in his opinion.
