at the words of the leader, smokepaw became
more interested. he focused all his attention at
high rock. 'new cat?' he thought, curious.
he glanced sideways at his sister, who had the
same excitement and curiosity.

aspenstorm ; tom ; warrior
"hu - wha?"
aspenstorm yelped, his head jerking up out of sleep as the
leader's yowl echoed through camp. blinking the morning
bleariness from his pale eyes, the scrawny warrior slowly,
unsteadily got to his feet, shaking off bits of moss as he
did. yawning and cursing the blaring sun, aspenstorm
stalked off towards where the clan was gathering. with
a huff, he plopped down towards the back of the crowd,
eyes curiously watching lightningstar perched at the high
rock. a small young cat that aspenstorm couldn't seem to
recognize was below the leader, and the warrior leaned
forward in interest - could he be a a new clanmate?

owlfire ; she-cat ; warrior
at the leader's call, owlfire leapt to her fluffy feet. she
eagerly bounded forward, taking her place beside the
large black tom she knew as pantherstrike. giving him a
dip of her head in greeting, the feline wrapped her tail
around her white paws and fixed her bright eyes on
lightningstar. within moments his strong voice rung
through the clan again, making her sit up a little but more.
oh, a new member, how exciting! her eyes searched for
the newbie, spotting the unfamilar form quickly. he was
young, apprentice age, maybe. curious about his origin,
owlfire tried to control her excitement by winding her tail
tighter around herself, her pelt fluffing up.

He could feel the wonder creeping up his pelt about Sunshine, the blind kittypet who had the nerve to join Cloudclan. Perhaps Noeyes could offer some advice to his mentor about training and how a blind cats sees this world, filled with scents and sound. It was hard to think Sunshine would make a successful warrior not being able to see attackers or prey.

The rusty red tom rushes into camp with a robin in his jaws, quickly dropping it into the fresh kill pile before settling down with the others. His hunt had somewhat payed off with the pile still low, another patrol would need to be sent out shortly if they were to feed the queen, elder and medicine cats.

Hushpad ♀||Med. Cat Apprentice||16 moons||→None

It's always every cat, why can't I be excused for a bit of herb hunting and stock count. I'm not getting replaced or having an apprentice, it's just a waste of time. She thinks harshly, lifting her head from sunning only a few moments ago. Sitting up, she remains close to the den not wanting to get claustrophobic in their cat pile.

Wisteria ♀||Loner||32 moons||→Nonr

Sitting outside the abandon twoleg nest, she stares into the forest praying to the spirits of burn sky the kit was in no trouble. It seemed like many of the cats around here were young and dull minded, or maybe her experience as a forest cat gave her more than common knowledge. Either way, she pushed the though back and gazed across the grassy area towards the more occupied nests.

Petalstep followed her leader up on the high rocks and stood there. She took a quick glace at rainstorm before looking down at sunshine. She purred softly as lightingstar called his name.

Sunshine smiled and jumped up the high rocks. He was a bit nervous he sensed more cats than he expected. The tom purred and held his head up high.

☆Foxmask☆
The she-cat padded gently around camp, wondering mostly to herself of what she'd take Juniperpaw out for for today. Maybe some battle training, though her thought was interrupted by the yowl of the leader calling a clan meeting. She turned around and looked towards high rock. She wondered what this meeting was about this time around. So she started padding over towards high rock to listen to this meeting.


☆Spidertail☆
The black brown furred tom had padded back into camp, only with one decent mouse from his hunting. He wasn't very happy with himself as he dropped it on the fresh kill pile. Then padding over towards high rock, having heard the yowling of the leader when he had entered into the camp. Someone new was joining the clan, he could help wondering who it was. He looked around for this new cat, though he sat down afterwards. Guessing this "Sunshine" would be around camp and he could see him around.


☆Minnowear☆
The tom slowly padded from where she was, close to the entrance to the camp and over toward high rock. Having heard the leader call a clan meeting to welcome a new cat into the clan. He couldn't help wondering who this new cat was, as the name "Sunshine" sounded like a kitty pet name if he had ever heard one. Though he decided to stay quiet on the matter, as looked up at Lightingstar to see how this meeting was going to go.


☆Swanfeather☆
The ivory white fur of the she-cat gently shifted in the breeze as she padded over toward high rock. Coming from just outside the warrior den, as she couldn't help wondering about this new cat "Sunlight". As she could only guess some of the other cat's reactions, along with this new cat would have to learn the ways of the clan. She hoped the apprentices wouldn't be too hard on this new cat. Though she gently sat down once she was close enough to high rock to hear what Lightingstar had to say.


☆Blizzardpaw☆
The white silver tom slowly padded his way out of the apprentice den. A yawn on the tip on his tongue as he left the den. He couldn't really help it, though he didn't have the greatest of rest that night. He did hear his leader's yowl calling a clan meeting. Even though he was tired, he was curious about what the meeting was about. So he padded over towards high rock and took a seat there. A new member? He thought as he sat down


☆Russetpaw☆
The orange red furred tom stretched his front and back legs before he headed out of the apprentice den. He couldn't wait to do some training today. Though his ears darted towards high rock as he heard the leader's voice from there. Was there something going on out there? He couldn't help wondering as he padded over towards high rock, taking a seat close to where Blizzardpaw was.Someone new to the clan? He though as he looked up at high rock.


☆Falconpaw and Dreampaw☆
Falconpaw slowly got up from her nest in the apprentice den, looking over at her sister Dreampaw. Who was still sleeping in her nest. She had heard the leader's call for a meeting and caught the part of it being that some new cat was joint the clan. She padded over to Dreampaw, and gently pushed her paw on Dreampaw's back. "Dreampaw, Dreampaw. A clan meeting's been called."

"Ah..." Dreampaw muttered she slowly pushed herself up from her nest, looking back at Falconpaw with her good right eye. "I was having a nice dream... Though I wouldn't want to miss a clan meeting..." She said as she was leaning against Falconpaw's side hoping to steady herself as the two of them together left the apprentice den. Padding over towards an open place to sit close to high rock to see, and in Dreampaw's case hear, what was going on.


☆Noeyes☆
The black furred elder slowly padded towards the entrance to the elder's den. Having heard the call for a clan meeting wondering who was this new cat that would be joining the clan. She opened her mouth to try and catch a scent, scenting mostly her clan mates though she did catch the scent of two legs coming off of some cat's pelt. [i]So this new cat's a kitty pet...[i] She thought to herself as she couldn't help wondering about it. Maybe this kitty pet could make it here. She had heard of other kitty pets making it out here and doing well. Maybe this new cat could do so as well.


☆Swiftfang☆
The queen slowly stirred as she heard the call of the leader calling a clan meeting. With a gently movement, and trying not to wake her kits as they were sound asleep for the time being. Once she had managed to get up from the nest without waking one of them, did she pad over to the entrance of the nursery. So she could see the clan meeting, though she wasn't going to go much further than that, as she still wanted to keep an eye on her kits.

juniperpaw - she-cat - apprentice
juniperpaw's gaze darted to the side, momentarily distracted
from the surprise ceremony. a pang of jealousy overcame the
long-furred apprentice as she spotted hushpad. it was a secret
that only stormpaw knew about, that juniperpaw's heart lied
on being a medicine cat, although it was unlikely. she brushed
away the feeling and returned her attention towards the new
member. a kittypet? she thought. although it made no
difference to her what the newcomer was, as long as he was
loyal.


smokepaw - tom - apprentice
the tom's gaze also swept the camp, landing on falconpaw and
dreampaw. his eyes lingered for a moment. quickly, he looked away.
he knew falconpaw was very protective of dreampaw and he didn't
want to be caught staring. she might assume the worst.


pantherstrike - tom - warrior
the large warrior tom narrowed his eyes, trying to get a better view of
the newcomer. something was different about sunshine, he could tell.
he didn't know what, but he would find out soon. his attention remained
on the ceremony. pantherstrike curled his tail around his paws.

He cleared his throat as Sunshine stepped forward. "Sunshine, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sunpaw. Your mentor will be Pantherstrike. I hope Pantherstrike will pass down all he knows on to you." he meowed. "Pantherstrike, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from your former mentor, and you have shown yourself to be strong and noble. You will be the mentor of Sunpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Sunpaw."

Petalstep purred and touched sunpaw's back with her tail.

Sunshine smiled with a small purr, "I am now. Sunpaw!" He whispered to himself with a small purr. He wasn't sure who patherstrike was, "My mentor is a panther !" The tom purred.

pantherstrike - tom - warrior
the large tom cat went from calm to shocked in a
split second as he heard his name being called. he
rose immediately. pantherstrike quickly moved up
high rock, offering a smile to sunpaw, who couldn't see it.
my first apprentice... the young warrior thought, excited.
he flicked his tail and looked at lightningstar with
gratitude. this meant he was a trusted member of the
clan, and he couldn't feel more proud of himself. now close
to sunpaw, he could see the milkiness to the tom's blue eyes.
he was experienced even to know that the new clanmember
was blind. at least he would'nt be intimidated by pantherstrike's
size and appearance. how will i be able to teach a blind cat..
pantherstrike immediately began to worry how this would be
possible for a warrior with no teaching experience.

"Blind cats don't make good warriors..." He mutters to himself, having convinced himself this was a bad idea and it reeked of crowfood. Pantherstrike had his worth cut out for him, but it would be rude to ruin the surprise completely by spouting it about. Glancing over slightly, he watches Noeyes still debating if he should ask.

It was obvious now that most cats had identified this cat with twolegs, strangely some dog as well. With all the apprentices he was surprised he hadn't ended up with one, but that was just more time for him and whomever he desired to spend it with. He wouldn't admit anything as he glanced over at Swiftfang near the nursery, always holding sympathy for queens without mates.
