-Fallenwish & Darkwake-

Fallenwish trotted over to Snowpaw, a smile on his muzzle.
"Very good!" He said quietly. "It had time to run and make noise, so it might have scared some of the prey around us away. But you caught it on your first try- very well." He purred in a whisper, glancing around. He bet that if any prey ran, it would only be the ones around here. Neither Snowpaw nor the mouse had been terribly loud.
Darkwake emerged from the shadows suddenly, her dark pelt blending in well until she came into the light. In her jaws were two mice, hanging by their tails. She looked at Snowpaw curiously and blinked when she saw that the apprentice had caught a mouse.

-Lostfire

Lostfire's ears flattened when Ravenmoon snapped back and marched past him. He hated having to say those things, but she had to learn that that's what you gota do to be medicine cat. He turned around quickly and trotted after her, easily catching up.
"Most of the herbs don't grow right on the water- very few do. How, may I ask, do you get any water if you don't go to the river?" He asked, purely out of curiosity.

-Charredspirit-

Charredspirit actually smiled, a tiny little thing barely turning her lips. She nodded and dipped her head.
"Of course. I can see you and your kin will be welcome additions to our Clan...anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish. But I see what you mean, why you are disgraced. I suppose holding onto where you came from is never a bad thing." She meowed softly, remembering her, her brother, and her friends' exile moons and moons ago. She lifted her head after a moment. "I..I must go now. I'm scheduled for a patrol. May we speak again soon." She said, then turned and clambered out of the den.

~Snowpaw~
Snowpaw smiled a but, “T-Thank you” She said, “I’m s-sorry” She said quietly, she didn’t mean to scare them all away, it was an accident. Snowpaw smiled a bit more happily, she didn’t get hit or anything. And he truly didn’t seem mad about it. Snowpaw picked up her mouse, her pale blue eyes shinning softly.

~Ravenmoon~
Ravenmoon scowled, “Details” She meowed harshly, she did sound upset she really did, but with everything that had happened to her recently she had every reason to be upset. The only reason she wasn’t an elder was for this job, of which she didn’t enjoy. She wasn’t a nice cat; she wasn’t cut out for this job so why keep her? Was it her powers and dreams? Was that the only reason she was alive? But was there some hope for the poor tiny raven black she-cat?

~Dreamwyvern~
Dreamwyvern dipped her head, “Thank you, it was lovely to speak with you, I hopes to speak again” She purred and then the she-cat was gone. Dreamwyvern glanced out of the den, her beautiful green eyes shimmering. She was deeply tempted to go for a swift flight, but with her kits so close to being due she decided not to.

-Fallenwish & Darkwake-

Fallenwish nodded.
"Don't apologies. You'll get better. Can you smell anything else?" He asked his apprentice, then glanced at Darkwake, his gaze questioning. Did she need something, or was she only coming back?
Darkwake dropped her catch, her eyes troubled.
"Fallenwish..I scented something." She meowed uneasily, her tone suggesting that it was worse than 'something'.
"What is it?" Fallenwish asked, concerned.
"I'll...I'll tell you later, we must have Limpfoot, Lostfire, and the others with us!" She she-cat said, then grabbed her prey and darted off into the forest. Her depart was soundless, though her words had been loud. How odd of Darkwake. She was usually so quiet while prey was about.

-Lostfire-

Lostfire frowned, and lowered his head with a sigh. He padded to the river, breaking out of the trees. He paused there and stared at the quick-moving water. The bank was a several yards away, and the occasional fish leaped from the water, landing with a splash. He didn't even look back to see if his apprentice was following, he just padded forward and about halfway to the river, he turned and started to walk downriver, headed toward a bush full of berries.

-Charredspirit-

Charredspirit landed lightly on one of the branches outside of the den and looked back up at the nursery, catching the queen's last words. She hesitated, then jumped down to a lower branch. She'd catch something for Dreamywyvern, maybe. The she-cat didn't seem to get many visitors, and she also appeared to be not far from kitting. She'd need the prey, considering there were so few apprentices to catch things for her.
The pale brown-white fur shone faintly in the weakening sunlight, which bathed everything softly in orange-yellow light. She leaped down to the ground and shifted her form. She grew smaller and spikes sprouted from her back. After mere seconds, she was a hedgehog. A large hedgehog, at that. She darted into the forest. Charredspirit liked to find prey as this form. She couldn't kill it, but it was much easier to get close to prey animals when you didn't appear to be a threat.

-Limpfoot-

Limpfoot stood up and stretched, carefully setting his paw on the ground. He looked up and sighed. The freshkill pile was in a small hole high up in the tree. Climbing it to get food was never fun. Usually he could ask someone to, or one of his friends would bring it to him without even having to ask- but most cats were out of camp. He'd have to get it himself.
Limpfoot carefully put his front left paw onto the trunk and dug his claws into the worn wood. There were clear paths where cats had climbed this path for generations, and their claws had scared it. In spots the tree was bare, barkless. But it still lived, and the claws had softened the trunk in some places- a nice thing for him, considering it meant he didn't have to put as much effort into digging his claws into the tree.
He hauled himself up the tree, grunting with effort and pain coming from his shattered paw. He barely touched it to the tree, not using it at all except for balance. He had to move his left paw very fast to catch himself or he'd fall each time he tried to climb.
Eventually finally got to the freshkill hole, and clambered inside, panting slightly. He grabbed a small mouse with his teeth and pulled it over to him.

~Snowpaw~
Snowpaw scented the air, she scented so many things, voles, shrews, even a thrush and pheasant, but she didn’t know if she should say anything, most of them were to far away to be scented by her mentor’s nose, it would seem strange if she said anything about them and he couldn’t scent them. It was then she scented a bird, “A b-bird” She meowed quietly. Her ears perked a flinched upon hearing Darkwake run away so swiftly, she wondered what was wrong.

~Ravenmoon~
Ravenmoon flinched as she followed after him, she hated the river more then anything.. well that was a lie, she hated the badger more and she hated living without her brother even more. She frowned and jumped slightly everytime a fish would jump, she moved more away from the river then ever as she followed after Lostfire.

-Fallenwish-

Fallenwish watched his cousin go away, uncertain of what to make of her unusual words. But he shrugged it off and turned back to his apprentice, deciding to think about it later.
"Very good. Is that all?" He asked Snowpaw, tasting the air. He did indeed smell bird, and a mouse or two. He also caught the smell of rain on the breeze.

-Lostfire-

Lostfire trotted to the bush and sniffed the berries curiously. He recoiled and wrinkled his nose.
"Come here, Ravenmoon." He said, flicking his bright orange tail a the bush, which was full of red-yellow berries. He waited for his apprentice to come without looking away from the bush.

-Limpfoot-

Limpfoot bit into his mouse, and finished it quickly. Then he laid down and groomed his pale and burnt orange pelt. He realized once again how different he looked from his cousins. He was almost as small as Darkwake, and the only non-dark colored one. His pelt wasn't thick and long, either. He sighed and licked his paws clean, then got up. His paw felt a little better after the climb, but still ached. As he limped to the exit, he paused, catching a scent he did not recognize. He frowned. Why would that- oh, it was that new she-cat queen. He flicked his ears and looked back at the freshkill pile. Perhaps she was hungry.
Limpfoot padded back to the pile and grabbed a robin. He went back to the den entrance and carefully climbed out of it, onto the trunk. The nursery was higher up, and that would only make it more painful to get down, but he figured it would be kind to make sure the queen was full. He wasn't sure if any of the other warriors were caring for her or not. So he slowly made his way up the tree, and to the nursery. He poked his head in and dropped the bird, nearly panting again from the effort.
"Hello?" He called softly into the dimly lit den.

~Snowpaw~
Snowpaw nodded her head, she was tempted to say everything she did scent. She didn’t know what to say, hesitant at first, she finally meowed, “W-Well I scent a vole” She meowed quietly, she wondered if he could scent it, it was very far away. Her beautiful white fur shimmered in the sun, her pale blue blind eyes looked down towards the ground.

~Ravenmoon~
Ravenmoon flinched when another fish jumped, “Stupid fish” She hissed, her least favourite food. “Come here, Ravenmoon” Lostfire meowed to her, she looked around and found him by a bush. She sighed and padded over to him.

~Dreamwyvern~
Dreamwyvern blinked, and glanced over it had only been a little while since Charredspirit had left, she heard a very soft voice call hello from the entrance, “hello?” Dreamwyvern purred softly, she had no idea who it was but they sounded tired, “Who is it?” She asked with her beautifully gentle voice.

-Fallenwish-

Fallenwish scented the air again, but barely caught a whisper of vole.
"You have a good scent, Snowpaw. I didn't catch that the first time. Why don't you try to catch it? Vole are very similar to mice, so the same crouch should do for it. Bury your mouse first though, we'll come back for it later."

-Lostfire-

Lostfire listened as Ravenmoon approached.
"Look at these berries. They're very dangerous." He explained, his tone serious. "They are deadly nightshade, but simply called 'Deathberries'. They are called that for a reason, mind you." He looked at his apprentice, hazel eyes softer than his voice. "No matter what you do, do not, ever, ever even lick one. I've never used one, though my mentor used to use them if a cat was going to die for sure. If their wounds were fatal. To put them out of suffering. But only if he was 100% sure."

-Limpfoot-

Limpfoot heaved himself into the den once he heard a reply, and tossed the robin into the middle of the den. He sat down, holding his wounded paw off of the ground. He licked it a few times, as if that would stop it hurting, but it did little good. He said nothing for a moment, then lifted his gaze and scanned the den until he spotted a pretty she-cat in the back. He blinked, then nodded toward the bird.
"I thought you might be hungry." He said quietly, dipping his head in greeting.

~Snowpaw~
Snowpaw smiled a bit and nodded her head, “A-Alright” She meowed, she dug a hole and put her mouse in it and buried it, but she only buried about some of it since she couldn’t see it. She dropped into a crouch and stalked after the vole.

~Ravenmoon~
Ravenmoon stared at the berried, she knew about them, she had heard of them before, but she didn’t know they were used to really kill off others. She was tempted, to eat one when he wasn’t looking, end all of her own suffering. Perhaps… no she figured she would wait till later. She remembered a time, it had been a little while ago as well, but she remembered it like it was yesterday. She had found a plant. It was a short plant all by itself away from others, it had a purplish base. It also had dark green leaves of various sizes and even some purplish, bell-shaped flowers. It also had on it berries that looked as black as night. Ravenmoon had started at it curiously, she had never seen a plant like this before, and name came to mind but she could put her paw on it. Ravenmoon wondered if the plant was still there and what it was called. “So… these are Deathberries” She meowed quietly, now she really wanted to know what the other berries had been.. Black as night, they had been simply beautiful in her mind, with the flowers and everything. It was enchanting to see it, she would go see it again later..

~Dreamwyvern~
Dreamwyvern purred slightly, “Why thank you” She said, she would have to make sure she didn’t tell Skyleaper about her eating it. She slowly got up wincing as she did, the kits were making it hard to move, being so heavily pregnant it made it hard to get around, which is why she wasn’t allowed out of the den now. In pain as she was, she would talk to Lostfire about it, perhaps she could ask this cat if he could talk to Lostfire for her. She woddled over to him and sat down gently curling her tail around her, “It’s nice to meet you” She added afterwards.

-Fallenwish-

Fallenwish tilted his head, a little ruffled that she hadn't buried her prey completely. He ignored it though and watched her stalk off. If something got the prey then it would be a lesson for her. Like he had done before, once she was a decent distance away, he followed her silently, setting each big paw soundlessly.

-Lostfire-

Lostfire nodded.
"There are two kind of deathberries. These orange-yellow ones, and some that are shiny black-red. They're both alluring and deadly." He explained. "Now come. There are other herbs to be collected." He said, walking around the bush. He perked his ears when he spotted a pretty blue flower. The medicine cat padded to it, leaning down to sniff the flower curiously.

-Limpfoot-

Limpfoot watched the she-cat come forward. He'd only heard of her joining, never saw her. He wasn't even sure he'd heard her name. When Fallenwish announced she was joining, he didn't pay much attention. But she was a queen, obviously one close to kitting, and that would soon make her an important part of the Clan.
"Of course. My name is Limpfoot." He told her. "I heard a young queen joined not long ago and decided to see if she was hungry. Have you been being taken care of?"

Re: DayClan (Accepting!)

~Snowpaw~
Snowpaw wandered through the woods in search for the vole, she stepped on everything including rocks and sticks and leaves and pretty much everything that made noise, she flinched everytime she stepped on one. Her eyes didn’t even look towards the ground they stared blindly ahead, she folded her ears back as she stepped on a stick that went CRUNCH under her back she gasped quietly and jumped back tripping on her tail and falling backwards, she winced as she landed, this was why she made a bad hunter. She frowned sadly.

~Ravenmoon~
Ravenmoon nodded her head and padded after her mentor limping as she did so. She blinked as Lostfire padded off, she followed after him. She spotted a beautiful blue flower, she stared at it quietly, her eyes showing softness for only a second before she shook her head and her icy blue eyes returned to normal.

~Dreamwyvern~
Dreamwyvern smiled gently, “it’s lovely to meet you Limpfoot” She said, “Yes this young queen is hungry” She purred softly chuckling as she did, she was beautiful, her calico fur shinning in the dim sunlight that seeped through the entrance. Her enchanting green eyes watched him, “My name is Dreamwyvern” She meowed gently, “Charredspirit came to visit me” She meowed, “She was a very nice cat to talk with” She said.
