Eric just moved to America from France with his family about a week before the start of summer and his parents wanted him to go to this camp to make friends. He is shy and nervous but always holds his head up high. He doesn't let bullies push him around but he hates confronting people. Back in France he was always the one that got picked on but it never bothered him, he knew that eventually he would be their boss someday but here, he is scared because everything is different. Before he moved, Eric loved to run and swim but now he mostly reads under trees or sits and watches the clouds. He hates being in America and misses France but is hoping to make a few friends. Since he is from France, French is Eric's first language but he knows enough English to get through the day and make small talk.

When Opal started to walk away, sweet tee followed her. "Sweet tee!" I called, but her didn't listen. So, I ran into the cabin and quickly got changed into my swim suit and cover up, then ran after sweet tee. I figured that the beach would be a nice thing to do, considering nothing else was going on right now.
Runny Babbit squirmed in my hand as I ran, wanting to hop by herself. I would have set her down, but we were on a road and I didn't want her to get hit. I pulled a milk bone out of my bag. "Sweet tee!" I called teasingly, "Come get the milk bone!" I said. I no time, he was bounding up to me, jumping on me to try to get the milk bone. I had him walk to the beach with me, when we got there, I dropped the milk bone, and hooked on his leash while he was eating.

Eric stepped out of his parents car and huffed as he took out his suitcase and pack from the trunk. With a forced smile, he watched them leave and then groaned as he turned towards the camp. His parents had gotten lost on the way here so he was sort of late and he hated being late. Quietly he walked to the main house and got a key for his cabin which happened to be number 2. With doubts in his head, Eric walked to his cabin and saw to guys talking outside but tried to avoid them and walked inside. Once inside, he saw numerous bunk bed lined against the walls and choose a lower bunk that was nestled in a corner. Quietly he laid his suitcase on his bed and opened it up. He kind of just stood there staring at his clothes thinking of what to do until he surprised himself by asking "What am I doing here?" and he sat down on his bed.
