Lightningstar listened intently to the beautiful sound of the birds chirping from a distance. He scented the air. "Smell anything?" he asked the rest of the patrol. His voice was a quiet whisper.

At the mention of the leader's apprentice, he felt a spark of sympathy towards the young cat. It must be hard having a leader for a mentor, Lightningstar was likely busy most days and had to plan patrols for the next few days. Petalstep couldn't handle everything on her own after all. "Maybe we'll see if there's any lazy kittypets to chase today." Their scent had been awfully close if not over the border lately, he tried to focus on prey but he couldn't help the mild annoyance.

Lifting her head with the wren between her jaws, she eyes the sliding glass door that stood still against the twoleg nest. More often than not, the dens had smaller openings covered with a flat that dogs or other cats came out of. Most days it was dogs, so she was quick to continue walking along and planting herself at the top of a fence to eat.

Sunshine jumped on sebastians back as her ran outside. Though he didn't go far, sunshine wanted to see what was beyond the gates so he jumped the gates and into the cloudclan territory. As he left Sebastian barks uneased and frighten that sunshine will get hurt. He scented a group of cats and purred softly, "I didn't know there where cats outside of the human homes !" He purred happily and hid in the bushes watching them.
